Our midfield and full backs with this line just aren't great passers - it's a real problem agaisnt a team dropping off

When that WBA player wrestled Lucas to the ground and then had the nerve to act all amazed when he got booked.  ;D

We've been really patient, a good gameplan this. Let's not do anything stupid keep the ball, knacker them out. Then go for the kill their defence in vulnerable, we can crack this.

Oh and get lost Pulis.

Great time to score, great to score a set piece against these too.

Result more important than the performance here, need to see it out.

Well there's Coutinho but you want his either receiving the ball or in place for the 2nd ball.

By the way why do we keep giving the ball away whenever we win throw in?
Our player throws the ball then we can't pass the ball back, it happened like 3 times in first 5 mins.
Let's be more careful, i dont want these shitheads winning those freebies in our half.

After a cynical foul no less too. Have an irrationally large hatred of shirt pulling - would drive me mad as a player if I beat someone fair and square and they just grabbed my shirt to stop me breaking away.

What the  fuck were their fans booing about?  Foul and yellow all day in modern football.  West Brom fans not quite as bad as Stokes but the seem to take offence at refs daring to call fouls against them, no matter the level of assault.

Imagine being a STH there. The full gamut of shit, negative football :

-time wasting
-shirt pulling
-reliance on set pieces
-claiming for everything
-snide fouls.

Emre Can had a good half, I thought.

He's improved recently but has got to move the ball quicker with a bit more purpose, our midfield in general seem slow and ponderous on and off the ball, we lack fluidity which is needed to break these type of teams down.

We are playing a back four.

That assist from Lucas though.

Was wonderful! Turned what looked like a shit free kick (though it could well have been planned with Lucas a good header of the ball) into a packed defence-beating surefire goal.

Fair play to Bobby for timing his run to perfection.

If he is, then that's pretty shit! He struggles to clear the first man most of the time. He's been great in that position but we need to bring someone in next season

@GlennPrice94
For those arsed, Lovren's thigh to Mignolet wasn't a back-pass. It's only a back-pass if it's from the foot. You can all continue now.

You could tell the comms were desperate to make a big deal of it, but realised they didn't actually know the rules, so several seconds of silence followed.

Absolutely ;D. Was having a chuckle at the jeers from the stands too. Perfectly legal boys!

Ooh that poor finish from Robson Kanu. As poor an attempt as you'd wish to see.

Still much to do... next goal very important as ever.

What were they booing about at the end? Are they seriously suggesting that shouldn't have been a free kick?
The goal. They were booing the goal. Today would have been Pulis' 48th consecutive stalemate and Bobby just ruined it.

If he saw a group of carefree Brazilian lads playing barefoot on the beach he'd rush over, burst their football and begin teaching them the basics of man-to-man marking, shirt pulling, flooding the midfield and getting in a sly dig when the ref's not looking...
I actually like that about Pulis!
