Mercedes drivers throwing pieces of fruit at Astra drivers while pointing and laughing is funny too. :)

Other half stuck in cat flap...

Broken toilet seat...

Police message on computer...

Dad watching porn...

Daughter in rap video...

Wanking while wife makes sex sounds...

Its good that this thread didnt exist earlier. Long term non loggers would have found it difficult to comment on such golden threads.

He's not the dad in that chewing gum advert who leers at his daughter's boyfriend by any chance?

That is most definitely not rap or hip-hop, it's just noise. With some nursery rhymes thrown in. Actually, it could be rap music, if you spell it with a C on the front.

One I've had to put up with for almost 30 years, is the same type of bellend wanting to race me on my various bikes. I had a big barge ZZR1100 when I was 29 that would do almost 90mph in first and just shy of 130 in 2nd, top speed (which I never did) was 186 mph and my current bike, a 1999 R1, which does 77 in first and 111 in second and tops out at about 177mph.

Oh I know what ZZRs are capable of Rob my brother in law used to have one but he was a crazy mo fo on his bikes.

He's probably tried racing you if you were still living round southport at the time [emoji23]

Cant think he'd ever be round Crosby more Rufford, Parbold, Skem, Burscough, Scarsbrick areas.

You know I can't remember what colour it was mate as he had a few different bikes round that time.  He and my sister had their own race team  for a few years back then till their driver was killed.

Same. Last 3 or 4 days have been as bad as it gets. Taking Loratadine and Cetirizine now. Nose is like a tap and I am almost nodding off at my desk. Only thing which seems to help is washing my hands and face every hour or so. I am having to set my alarm for 4am, get up and take a tablet or else if I have a tablet when I get up normally it doesn't kick in for a while and that's be done for the day. Isn't summer great?!
I just thought I'd put this out there because I know how horrible hay fever is. I developed it in my teens and it was severe. My eyelids would swell up and close over and my lips would swell bigger than Pete Burns' at a Botox and fillers party. My nose ran like a tap and I'd sneeze endlessly. I was so desperate I'd put my head in the freezer just to breathe cold, clean air. It was so bad every summer that I ended up having to have steroid injections every six weeks.

Anyway, after years and years of summer misery I found out that hay fever meds are best used proactively rather than reactively. If you wait til hay fever hits then it takes a while for meds to help you. I know by experience that I'm severely allergic to grass, nettle and weed pollen, so I have on repeat prescription, Loratadine tablets, Opticrom eye drops and Beconase nasal spray, which I start taking daily in May and don't stop until September. Since doing this, I've not had a single bout of hay fever for many years, even in the highest of pollen counts. Just being proactive with the meds like this has vastly improved the quality of my life every summer. I'd recommend this to anyone who suffers annually with hay fever.

I do the similar - it cuts down the severity of the hay fever a lot.  I do have to take extra tablets when the count is really high though.

I absolutely agree with this mate.

I dont get hayfever but have bouts of sneezing fits due to some allergy or other and I take an antihistamine every day to keep them in check.

Taking them once the systems appear is a total waste of time.

Had hay fever since I was a very young kid, probably 4 or 5. So 30 years now. Tried it all, even taking the tablets (multiple different types over the years) from way before the pollen appears and it’s all been a load of shite and not worked one bit for me.

Only things that have ever worked for me are Benadryl Plus (can’t seem to find these anymore) but these didn’t work all the time, and in the last 4 or so years the Tesco own decongestant liquid stuff (not a spray) - that stuff is fucking amazing. Doesn’t burn you nose after a few days of use like some other nose sprays do. I also have an inhaler for when it gets exceptionally bad on my chest and pretty much stops me breathing!

The comfort eye drops help, even better if you keep them in the fridge, but main thing is sunglasses when outside to stop some of the pollen getting in and to try your best to not itch!

Ultimately the best thing is aircon! I’ve actually gone and slept in my car with the aircon on many times before  ;D

Hahaha

Preachy vegans definitely annoy me.

Hay fever annoys me even more, its sooooo bad this morning.

A 'friend' blocked me on FB because I commented that she was being preachy and out of order for comparing carnivores to homophobes and racists. She said that one day meat-eaters will be viewed the same. Does being vegan affect your mood or something??

See a specialist? There's some types of pollen allergies that can be treated with, for example, steroids during the particular season.

Had steroid injections and although had some effect it really didn’t prevent me experiencing it that much.

This year I’ve started using Hay Max (like a barrier run you put on your nose and under your eyes) and it’s been my least sneezy summer ever so it must be doing something right considering everyone else has said this has been one of the worst years ever for it

Neighbours again with music blaring all night and still going despite us banging on the walls.

Not helped having all the windows open due to the heat but it's a beautiful day so a good walk with the dogs then a nan nap later should sort me out.

Grown men who ride bikes on the pavement.

Two separate riders yesterday weaving through pedestrians at speed.

I can understand 12 year olds but if you are old enough to be covered in tattoos at least have the gumption to take your chances on the road.

I've even seen some do that on quiet roads where there's maybe one car every 10/20 minutes.

Some absolute prick nearly knocked my nephew over cycling at top speed on a straight National Trust walking path and weaving between adults, then looked back at him like it would have been his fault. Have to be some knobend to not at least slow down on the parts that have people walking on them.

They can be like that on the Guild Wheel here in Preston, including on some narrow paths. Once had a cyclist fly past me then turn around and stick his finger up at me - I'm hard of hearing so if he had rung a bell I would have let him have more space.

Similar issue myself last night. There is a horrible yappy little rat of a dog at the top of this street which must get shoved out in the garden in the evening. I don't normally hear it too loudly with the window closed but you've got to be leaving it open in weather like this. It finally shut up about one in the morning. Honestly don't know how the people who live right by it cope. Nor do I understand how its owner can cause it. One bark and ours gets brought back inside.

Some prick almost hit a few of us years ago on the tow path of the Leeds/Liverpool canal, I elbowed him as he went past, he lost control but sadly avoided going into the canal.

Yappy dogs are a pain in the arse at any time of day but there's no need during the night.  Surely it effects the owners sleep too!

Don't know if this counts as a "small" thing that annoys me but how feckin selfish the human race has become.

Got on a virgin train last night last night and the amount of people that either have bags on seats or their feet up on a seat or a couple of people hogging a table for 4 so no one else can sit down, An old coulple got on at Runcorn and no one offered to move over or move their bags to let them sit down till a lad with us grabbed 2 lads bags and shoved them up the overhead storage things and told the couple to then sit in the empty seats.

Quite surprised last night.

Neighbours again with music blaring all night and still going despite us banging on the walls.

Not helped having all the windows open due to the heat but it's a beautiful day so a good walk with the dogs then a nan nap later should sort me out.

Ear plugs are great for the summer. You’ll still hear high-pitched alarm clocks, alarms, etc, but any music from your neighbours or other noise like dogs barking through the open window won’t bother you.
We aren't walking through the storm now - we are the storm.

One of my biggest pet hates on the train people with their dirty feet over the seats. There is usually never a guard around though so people get away with it.
