They can't let people in for free, £15 is fine,

I never said for free if other much smaller clubs than us can charge fans cheaper prices than that so should we.

Whats the difference between £10 and £15, and smaller clubs don't charge that. I guarantee £15 is probably average football league price

Yeah I know Wrexham and Chester charge more than £15 for a lot of sections, National League sides

And the demand will be there for £15 so its a fair price

If we charged 100 a ticket would it be a fair price we would still sell the ground out as demand would be there

Maybe not this game but in the prem and champions league there would eb the demand and therefore it would be a fair price if we go by your logic

Maybe so but that wouldn't be accepted by supporter groups, If you expect the club to charge £5 for a FA Cup game no matter the team then idk what to say here

If the club are not even playing the first team squad and the manager will not be on attendance how can a price of fifteen pound be justified. 15 pound would be the price if the normal team was playing maybe.

My seat would cost £30 for a league 1 team normally, all seats are between £16-£30, again £15 is average price for most lower league games I don't see the issue

My local non league club charges £18 entry and they are a division below the conference. £15 doesn't seem bad considering it will be at Anfield.

To be fair the ticket price isn't so much the issue with me it's the way they're going about selling them.

People are going on about this game as a chance for those who don't get to go very often to have a taste of Anfield. But you wouldn't expect people who don't go the game to have a membership, so if a Dad wants to take his 3 kids for the first time he'll have to pay the ticket price + membership for him & his 3 kids (over £100)

I really think they just should have swerved the credit off for this one & gave people on the ACS an opportunity for a one off opt out if they don't want to go. Then lashed all the remaining tickets / returns after the criteria sales onto a general sale with print @ home barcode tickets. Fill the ground no probs, now we'll have loads of empty seats belonging to people in the ACS who are unable to go but had to pay for their seat

They could easy not give the credit to anyone who buys one but doesn't attend if they want to but wont. The information of what card holder has entered the stadium is taken at the Turnstiles

Really hoping to get a pair for this. I know the stadium won't be full but the amount that will be buying just for the credit will make it a tough game to get tickets for. Hoping to take my daughter for her first time under the lights so fingers crossed! At £20 for the two of us, it's a steal even with the first team not playing

I'd imagine they'll be making a big loss in revenue if they offer 50% discount on all stands

Strange logic that. The ground is going to be used on an evening when it would usually be sitting idle.

Do you think this will drop to season ticket holders with no previous FA Cup credit (new ST holder and not in FA Cup Auto Cup)

Would like to see an official statement  from The Club on how they intend to minimise the number of empty seats and give the opportunity for lots of first timers and kids to attend, whilst retaining a credit for purchase and actively prohibiting the use of members cards by others.  Perplexing to say the least.

Yes it has Andy from the BBC ...

Oxford United's FA Cup fourth-round replay with Newcastle United will be televised live on BBC One on Tuesday, 4 February (20:05 GMT).

The League One side drew 0-0 at St James' Park on Saturday to take the Magpies back to Kassam Stadium.

BBC One's coverage will run from 19:59 to 22:00 GMT with extra build-up and reaction on iPlayer - all available to watch on the BBC Sport website and app.

Same, my son is at that age when he is asking to go to a game but I can never pick up 2 tickets for me and him, this would be ideal. Just no mention on the selling arrangements of when a sale for members with no previous FA cup credits would be. Hoping it drops that far!

That’s for The Club to work out and deal with.  They can’t have it both ways.  Pretty easy to do and the answers are within this thread.
