It's actually a really good time to do a draft like this as there are no Messi/peak Ronaldo-level standouts to skew the voting for the early teams.
A present day draft would imply the teams are playing on the day of the face off, surely? Unless we're going all-time European Championship.
Oh I agree, but I don't know if everyone else will follow suit. If there's enough interest then you should do a current Euros draft - could even splice it with fantasy football elements and have it run concurrently with the tournament.
No point, Euro's started and then the Copa.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks
Crosby Nick never fails.
That’s 12 players? Or are we picking a ref to represent United?
Rivals draft:Historical: 3 Mancs, 3 EvertoniansRecent rivals: 2 Chelsea, 1 CityEuropean: 1 Bayern, 1 Real Madrid, 1 Ac MilanAll players selected must have played vs Liverpool at least once.
Presumably they have to have played against Liverpool at least once for the clubs listed? Only tricky one could be Milan as think we’ve only played them twice and they must have had about 8 players play in both matches so doesn’t leave a lot of choice. Not that it’s a bad bunch to choose from!
We have to pick three bitters? Jeez.
Plenty have played for us and them!
Something sporty but not football?
Everton draft?
Oh you, ya kidder
How about a timely Olympics Draft? Something like 5 Olympians (all different sports and at least 2 females and males). Obviously not picked on just medals but overall legacy or just their impact on a single Olympics.

Had to Google that one
Hockey right?Sounds good Hazel.
Exactly. Knew a connoisseur like yourself would get that Sarge.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
I think an Olympic draft would be boss. Christ knows, we need to get some enthusiasm for it from somewhere. Looking like a damp squib at the mo.
