Its absolutely bitter here tonight Rob, a biting wind and it doesn't look like it's going to improve soon.

My Jasmine has suffered to fuck, as you say it's been too cold for too long.

Max of 10c today, -1 tonight and 8c tomorrow, its too much, that's December temps - this time last year it was 20c or more.

You've definitely got to dress accordingly still even though it looks glorious. 

Reminds me of my two cousins when they visited over winter from Australia, they saw snow with the blue skies and went out to play in it in shorts and t shirts 😁

It's deceptive at the moment. Looks nice, but is cold. More like a lovely winters day.

I managed to clean the car in my t-shirt and shorts though.    Rob will be proud of me, I'm sure.

I still wear shorts when its snowing and I've got my big coat on.

It got mentioned in our daily meeting today, someone said I bet Robs still got his shorts on, stood up to show I was.

I used to kayak with a lad who wore shorts all winter (not in the water though) and he always said so long as your top half is warm you don't notice it.  Same when we were kids and went to the Delph swimming after school, if you'd dried your hair and body your legs never felt cold.

I'm 61 now though, not 14 😂

My stepdad is 79 and wore shorts this winter, same reasoning, keeps the top half warm and you're sound.

At least its clear blue skies this morning. Drove through heavy snow passing Stoke on the M6 yesterday and it was snowing when i was fuelling the truck up last night at 7pm.

just been for a walk, then got a coffee and sat in the park in the sun, just as we gets home it starts snowing

If you get out the cold wind in the sun it's pretty warm. Just walked the dog down Pier Head then back up through town - all in just a T-shirt and jeans. Cold in the shade but got on a bench just tucked back a little in the sun and was gorgeous.

I can tell when it is fucking cold as the lining under my left knee cap starts to seize up.

The answer is to wear long johns or lined walking trousers but I didn't do either yesterday and ended up hobbling home.
