For it to be a "one hit wonder" it really has to be well known, and probably UK and/or US top 20.

Agreed with this. My issue isn't about the song picked but the judgement of whether it is the artist's only hit.

    "Tainted Love" – Soft Cell (1982) - definitely not a "one hit wonder"
    "Come on Eileen" – Dexys Midnight Runners (1982) - definitely not a "one hit wonder"
    "I'm Too Sexy" – Right Said Fred (1991) -who cares
    "Mickey" – Toni Basil (1982) - yes a "one hit wonder"
    "Who Let the Dogs Out?" – Baha Men (2000) -  yes a "one hit wonder"
    "Ice Ice Baby" – Vanilla Ice (1990) - arguable

I would scrap the one-hit wonder criteria if I were you guys. It will only cause a mess later down the line with near every pick getting disputed. Most people knowing a song is also highly dependent on the age of people taking part. I like the idea of bringing a bit of diversity to the picks, but maybe think of something less divisive.

Lets keep it the same minus the "one hit wonder" , even though my pick is the greatest "one hit wonder" ever. I will pick again at some point today. I wouldn't be interested in the following: Academy award winner, Christmas No. 1 - there have only ever been 2 good Christmas tunes, or Song turned into a liverpool song.
