According to LFC history they both signed professional in January 74.
So, I reckon it is indeed correct.

I'd just stopped crying over the loss of Keegan (I was only ten, ok) when this fella called Kenny turned up. Even now when I look back everytime he scores a goal is that not the best smile in footy?...still

That video is ace, superb and deserves a wider audience. Theres loads of young reds out there hanging on his every word/press conference. I think you should post it on the main board and let the kids have an insight to what we had.

Have just finished the latest issue of Well Red magazine and if you haven't got onto it yet, I have to say it was a brilliant read - there is a thread on here somewhere as Garath and Roy are heavily involved. I am going to get a subscription when I get paid at the end of the month - still trying to get over xmas! Great article by Simon Clancy which goes back to the origins of the name Spion Kop from the Boer war. Like I said, well worth getting hold of....link below.
