Cardiff have distanced themselves from comments made by manager Colin Wanker about Brexit,

After Saturday's game against Huddersfield, Warnock criticised the Government's handling of Brexit negotiations and admitted he could not wait to get out of Europe.

"Comments made by our manager following Saturday’s fixture are representative of his personal political stance," said a club statement

"These comments do not reflect the political position of Cardiff City Football Club, nor its board of directors."

Cardiff are owned by Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan and chief executive Ken Choo is also from that country, while chairman Mehmet Dalman was born in Cyprus.
