I am with you, that is ridiculous.

Bisping is being cocky now and he must know he lost that.

And I gotta say, absolute class from Hamill, pure class, just said that he was beat fair and square (which isn't even true).

would have liked bisping to show a bit more class than that, thought 1st went to Hammill, 2nd could of gone either way(slightly leaning towards hammill) and 3rd to Bisping. Hope to see hammill again hes a fucking monster

Havent got a clue how Rampage v Hollywoods gonna turrn out!

Thought it was a draw at best. Home fighter got the decision.

Could have and should have shown more class than that.

I like the look of Houston Alexander.

Cro Cop was poor again.

Thought Paul Taylor was unlucky.

Neither Bisping or Hammill would last with Chuck let alone Rampage or Dan Hendersen.

Really looking forward to UF6 Hughes V Serra

Rampage was impressive.

Close fight though. I actually had Henderson winning the first two and he might of even taken the last.

Bisping decision was ridiculous though. Don't like the guy, he was just after getting schooled by Hammill and he showed no class in victory either. He'll never be a top guy in that division.

Cro Cop has been a terrible disappointment in the UFC so far.  He doesn't attack that much, he was at his best (in pride) when he went for leg kicks as well as body/head.

Awful match to put him in. Congo would struggle against anybody that goes for the takedown. Don't know whats left for Cro Cop know, he's got a hell of a job to get himself back to the top.

Comfortably beaten.

Shit really. I'm pissed off. Went out fuming about it all. Cro Cop beaten, Etim beaten comfortably and Bisping... my favourite fighter who got me into MMA properly, he clearly lost, but the corrupt judges gave him the win. Oh and Portugal didn't win. Pricks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree. And Shogun has joined now as well. He will murder anyone in that division. Bisping wouldn't last a round. I've heard Bisping is going to drop down a weight which I think is wise because he's a very small light heavyweight. He barely needs to cut weight before a fight. He could possibly be a force at that weight but with the dept of light heavyweight, I can't see him going anywhere fast.

I think Rua is definitely the best light heavy weight out there. I can't see Bisping competing with any of the top guys in that division so dropping down to middle weight may be his best option, even Houston in only his 2nd UFC fight looked like he has a lot more about him. But I think Henderson will also drop to middle weight, as Silva aside, there's nobody that could live with him.

Watching this now (for the first time) reminds me of that scene from 'women in love.'

I thought it was proper brutal.
When your Mum used to pick you up from school and you'd run out and be like 'Mummy I got 9/10 in the spelling test today', would she go 'phenomenal, son'.

Cos if she did she's a stupid fuck.

I was surprised by how tired Shogun looked. After everything i've heard about him he didn't live up to the hype.
I was even more surprised by Chuck. My prediction of a first round KO was a bit off.

Now for Silva vs. Franklin. Can't wait :)

Big news!

On Saturday, November 17th, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to New Jersey for the first time in over two years, and in the main event at Newark’s Prudential Center, two of the most decorated graduates from The Ultimate Fighter will meet, as season two winner “Sugar” Rashad Evans (15-0-1) battles season three winner Michael “The Count” Bisping (15-0) in a battle that will not only leave one of these unbeatens with a loss on his record, but it will validate the victor as the future of the light heavyweight division.

Tickets for UFC 78: Validation, which are on sale now through Saturday for UFC Fight Club members and Newsletter subscribers, will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Saturday, October 6th through Ticketmaster.com.

Also added to the pay-per-view portion of the show (which will air live beginning at 10pm ET / 7pm PT) are four explosive bouts featuring a mix of veteran contenders and rising stars.

In a light heavyweight contest, two of the most aggressive strikers in the game today will collide when Houston “The Assassin” Alexander (8-1) faces Thiago Silva (11-0). Alexander has been the breakout performer of 2007, winning his first two
UFC bouts against Keith Jardine and Alessio Sakara by knockout in less than two combined minutes. Chute Boxe’s Silva has been just as impressive in stopping James Irvin and Tomasz Drwal in his debut fights in the Octagon.

Former middleweight title challenger David “The Soul Assassin” Terrell (10-2) makes his long-awaited return to the UFC against The Ultimate Fighter 3 finalist Ed “Short Fuse” Herman (15-4). For Terrell, who owns a first round knockout win over Matt Lindland, it will be his first fight in the Octagon since he submitted Scott Smith in a single round at UFC 59 in April of 2006. Herman is currently riding a two fight win streak with impressive submission victories over the aforementioned Smith and Chris Price.

Top five welterweight contender Karo “The Heat” Parisyan (25-4), winner of seven of his last eight bouts, will also be in action on November 17th as he takes on UFC newcomer Hector Lombard (11-2-1). Parisyan, fresh from wins over Drew Fickett and Josh Burkman, will be facing a fellow Judo specialist in Lombard, a native of Cuba who represented his country in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and who is now chasing glory in mixed martial arts.

Opening up the UFC 78 pay-per-view card is a lightweight matchup that should live up to or exceed all expectations it is likely to have placed on it as rising star Frankie “The Answer” Edgar (7-0) faces a stern test in highly-regarded contender Spencer “The King” Fisher (20-3). Just 7-0 as a pro, Toms River, New Jersey’s own Edgar has nonetheless fought as a seasoned vet thus far in the UFC, handing Tyson Griffin his first pro loss in February, and doing the same to Mark Bocek in July. Don’t expect Iowa’s Fisher to be fazed though, as this hard-hitting striker is used to fighting the young guns at 155 and engaging in memorable wars like his torrid June win over Sam Stout.

That's a really poor card. Think they are tring to get Tito on board for that one, maybe he'll face Hendo or possibly Wanderlei. It's either that or he's pisses about over money, why else would they pull his match with Rashad?

I wouldn't rule Bisping out against Rashad, no matter how much i dislike him. Rashad is a pretty small LHW himself. Still fancy Evans though.

And they really are wasting a fight on Karo. He should be fighting one of the top guys.

Couture's after retiring again. Don't blame him. The only fight left for him imo, was the Fedor fight. But that can't happen now since Fedor has signed with M-1. That's a big double kick in the balls to the HW division in the UFC.
