He's a good coach but will need time, that's something the won't get at that shower of a club.  Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't last a year.

Mr. Levy will likely make sure it'll be 1/5th of that.

Can see the attraction but a little surprised he went there to be honest. Maybe some of the uncertainty surrounding Southampton played a part.

See I think that he could be a real success there, they already have a very good squad even if it was just a group of decent players thrown together.  He is a decent coach who got Southampton playing good football, all this talk about Levy is a little pointless because they do not really need to get players in he just needs to get the players that they have playing some good football and he is perfectly capable of that

Haven't spurs got about Ł15m from real in bonuses for Modric and bale as a result of winning the CL?

It matters not, Levy won't back him when the going gets tough, 18 months I give him

Shame he'll be sacked before he gets them to that level though.

Not really he's a barrier to a manager succeeding at that club. Also they want or believe they are entitled to more than just good football.

Pleased they did not opt for De Boer as him & his support team look v.impressive.

They opted for Pochettino over better candidates for the obvious reasons he is Argentinian & speaks Spanish! A manager appointed for to get the best out of Levy & Baldinis failed signings.... The Spurs dressing room will be a mess by Christmas.

Why do you think that?

Not sure about him myself, lack of information more than anything

Not out of the realms of absurdity honestly (last year anyway), league champions and whatnot. Still competing in the CL.

Glad they got Moyes.

Think he'll get 2 years. They'll give him 1 year to try to show that they've changed and give managers time, but they'll finish 6th and pressure will start to mount. Then he'll be under pressure the entire second season and the team will start off strong before falling apart, and he'll be a lame duck manager by the last few months. He'll be sacked the day after the season ends.

It wouldn't surprise me if they tried. We've got more pulling power than Spurs these days though, so if we want them we should get them. All would depend if they were prepared to pay stupid money for them.
