Fortunatly no... I was coming to the lights and had a sore knee so was stretching it so used the left foot instead, got the shock of me life

In this case more likely yer head would get there first.

Left foot breaking... the art of keeping the revs up by slowing down (for corners and the like) and keeping the right foot on the gas to exit at max speed.

Also - try "heel and toe".  Right foot on the accelerator... heel on the clutch to change down and toe on the brake to dab them a little. Result is coming out of a corner with high revs... and in the right gear to get away.
