cheers Craig S for the City infos, didnt mater anyway he was on holiday !

he has Hoffenheim qualifier on his card and that didnt count, he knows finals dont neither.

i only mentioned the 8 credits he has which looks like the max anyone can have if they started with Moscow : Spartak + Porto + Roma + Napoli + Bayern + Porto + Barca + Napoli

id be surprised if they used Augsburg so this is for me aswell for Genk sales : 12/13, guaranteed then 11/13, not guaranteed

I live in Belgium and was lucky enough to get 2 CL season tickets at Genk, which obviously includes our game!
Just can't wear anything red and need to shut up when we score.

Problem with 11/13 there is a hell of a lot of people for 400 hundred odd tickets but if they take it 15/19 or 14/19 from the figures they have been using it will be a lot fairer to the people who have been going longer and not just started in CL days

Just collect up the ticket stubs for those that go thru the turnstile in Napoli...have a couple of stewards inside with a bag..place it in as you go thru... handwritten names on tickets..take them back to the TO and offer those that attended the last few hundred for Genk...😉
according to 24/7 I will be scrambling round for tickets on the exchange all season #STH #19awayclub

Not a bad idea? So someone with 3 games (2 last season+Napoli this season) would get a ticket over someone that has 11/13?

Yeah, great idea.

My bad, it would be a great idea to collect the ticket stubs in Napoli. Obviously not selling Genk based on only 3 matches!

FYI

Genk just issued a statement on their website that they're fully sold out for all 3 games.

15000 tickets
2000 business seat holders
2000 for UEFA and partners

1000 for the away team

Says that for UEFA matches, the capacity is 21500 so I wonder what has happened to the other 1500 tickets.

No idea mate, that's what it says on their website.
I do know that they lose a lot of capacity due to the fact they need to make it an all seater for Euro's.

Cheers. Yeah I've just checked and by making it all seater for UEFA matches, it brings the capacity down from 23718 to 21500, no idea why the website only says 20000 though.

Found an article in a Belgian paper:

"Europees is de Genkse capaciteit beperkt tot 20.000 plaatsen. In de Jupiler Pro League biedt het stadion plaats aan 24.956 personen."

It basically says that while in the Belgian 1st Division there's 24956 seats. There's only 20000 in Europe.

So that's at least another 75 off the allocation when we thought it was 21500

I've got 11 out of last 13 so in the unlikely category got flights for 60£ return and booked refundable hotels so if don't get one just won't bother going and write the £60 off.

Think we've secured one on full credits but will then need another. We should be in the 2nd sale I'd hope but woukd want to keep our credits the same really as easier going forward. Decision decisions. ... Hopefully it's not too long b4 we find out.

Oh yea and the Stadium is out in the sticks with no cafés near and is a bit of a shite away end.

Anyone that was at the Anderlecht and Standard games a few seasons back will be aware of how bad the away sections are in Belgian stadiums.

Me and my mate are staying in Winterslaag which made us giggle.  We are getting a cab from Weert to Bree then the local bus down into Genk on matchday . We've got a nearly a whole day in Genk the following day before we go to Maastricht . Fancy a pint ?

Don't be surprised if you find Hasselt to be quiet midweek but it will be much better than Genk. Try and avoid the Irish bar though as the beer elsewhere if better/cheaper and last time a British team played in Genk the Irish Times in Hasselt was targeted by a group of Dutch/Belgian hooligans.
