Got Vardy and Pereira here. Up to 109 points!

I regret to inform you I also have Ederson and Aguero. I was happy with 109, I’m annoyed to be on 121.

It.was definitely one of those weeks... I scored 87 and thought that was grand, then I look around and all my closest league rivals have got 100-120,really takes the edge off!

Ended up with 115, most in my league and about 30 more than second place to extended my lead to 64 points with 2 games left. I’ve still got bench boost to play too, which I think I’ll use on the last weekend.

Took out David Luiz and replaced him with Luke Shaw this week. Also captained Rashford.

its a bit of a weird week to use it given the double weeks etc

id load up with city and liverpool players for a start

maybe mark travers at 4m for a cheap starting keeper and load up with the likes of mane, aguero and salah

ive got ederson, aguero, salah, mane and robbo in the team

id think of taking others out given the concern over robbo but i already went minus 4

made my changes last week before the spurs match even ended. had to get rid of son

Bench boost left to use. Last two weeks haven’t been good but got a 26 point lead at the top so hopefully will be OK.

Need to sub Son out, and might take a 4 point hit on another change.

Well I'm in a H2H lead. First v second this weekend for the majority of the winnings pot so wanted to ensure I had something to use against him.

That sounds familiar... Not the money part, but I had two starters who came on for 2-3 mins, blocking the path of autosubs that were set to win me a league. I was following a live feed and going "ah fuck... Not to worry, still got - ah FUCK!"

Was very pleased, dropping Sterling for Glen Murray worked a treat :) not enough of a treat but still....Pulled 83 points, mostly c mane, and finished at 470 k which was my best ranking of the entire season, spent most of the year in the 600k-1.4 million range. Had better years but had worse ones too, and what a treat not picking mancs has been, again. Its an unfair advantage that, not picking mancs  ;D

Well in lads. coupla months and we go again!

The top defenders: Robertson (213) and van Dijk (208),
finished ahead of the top forwards: Aubameyang (205) and Aguero (201).

Had two free transfers for the final week and brought in Trent and Redmond which went well. 70 points, won my leagues. Finished on 2,076 which was around 1.2m, not great but the highest I’ve been all season so at least I ended well!

Will be interesting to see how defenders are priced relative to strikers next season, it seems hard to imagine a Kane will still be worth 2 Robbos or whatever. I seem to recall Baines got priced at 8.0 several years ago when he took penalties and got 10 assists a year, but generally defenders have never been more than 7.0. If the pricing trend continues, next year I'll be building a squad around fullback assist monsters. TAA, Robbo, Alonso, Mendy if fit... And then look to mid-table sides for strikers.

^ further to the above, I just checked the Value (Season) stats, and 19 of the top 20 were defenders or keepers, so it strongly suggests that those are the areas one should invest in, and not get tempted by pricey goal scorers. Fraser was the only mid or forward to crack the top 20 (Jimenez was #21). The best value player was Etheridge, and remarkably, T-Rex came in 2nd,ahead of  Trent (3), Robbo (4) and VVD (5). When Davek gets wind of this, we'll never hear the end of it.

Bigger or smaller than you expected?

I've grabbed both Liverpool full backs. Mental that they're 7.0 each when they amassed over 400 points between them last season, and that's with Trent missing a bunch of games.
