Boxing is turning into a circus. And I guess Mayweather must be going broke since he begged Khabib to fight him and now he's fighting Youtubers.

The problem with boxing is it takes f..o...r...e...v...e....r for the best to fight the best, if it ever happens. Fury/Joshua would've fought three times already if they were in the UFC.

These kind of exhibitions are currently en vogue and Mayweather wants a piece of the pie. He might well be down to his last half a billion but he will get paid a significant amount of money to beat the shit out of whoever that fella is. He wont even have to train for it, he'll just tick over in the gym like he does anyway.

To him, he gets paid, he gets back in the spotlight, and it gives him something to do. If the money is there, why not?

Personally would've preferred if Mayweather fought someone from the UFC like Masvidal who's a hot ticket and most likely an easy win. Instead this Logan Paul weirdo gets a payday.

Saw this guy was fighting at the weekend, not sure what to think of him. Guy is talller than Anthony Joshua but fights at super welterweight!

Right you lot, predictions for the weekend scrap. By predictions I mean how long will Pulev last?

I'm going AJ inside six rounds. Pulev is a technically good fighter but lacks the athleticism speed or power to keep Joshua off him for long.

This assumes the Joshua doesn't have another aberration.

Joshua late on or by UD

I think he massively respects that Klitschko is the only person to beat Pulev so far so won't go chasing him early

Kind of torn by this one. On the one hand, you'd think he wouldn't want to do anything silly and fuck up the potential trilogy with Fury that will make them both megarich.

On the other hand, this is the perfect opportunity for a highlight reel KO which he could probably do with after the Ruiz nonsense.

Im going Joshua 9-10 TKO.

After Ruiz he wont go steaming in and also both havent boxed for a year which could make it cagey at the start.

I think Joshua will knock him out between rounds 10-12, I don't expect AJ to take chances early on and unless Pulev makes a ridiculous mistake in the opening rounds then we'll see a similar display to the Ruiz rematch early doors.

Pulev is a good fighter and certainly is no bum, he deserves AJ's respect. I don't think he's got too much of a chance though, simply because I don't think he'll be able to avoid AJ for 12 rounds and he doesn't have enough power to get AJ off him when it gets feisty. I think Pulev will win rounds early - similar to what Povektin did - but AJ will get to him in the middle rounds and take him out.

Rewatched the highlights of Klitschko v Pulev, and AJ doesn't have anything to worry about. Klitschko wasn't doing anything particularly clever, just left hooks and straight rights and he couldn't miss.

Only thing to worry about is that Pulev is tough and AJ will have to avoid punching himself out looking for the finish like he sometimes does.

Joshua to go with a Lewis/Wlad style fight:  Feel him out for a few rounds, keep the jab in his face and drop an exhausted Pulev somewhere around round 9 or 10.

Pulev's style is why I think this could be a very quick night's work for AJ. Pulev is very stiff and upright, and not quick enough to avoid AJ's punches. Joshua's hand speed and athleticism will cause him all types of problems that he won't be able to solve. I can see Joshua dropping him with a straight right down the pipe at some point. Also, Pulev is nearly 40 so is even slower than he was against Wlad!

Pulev is a solid fighter technically but doesn't have much in the way of power either. I also think Wilder, for all his many flaws, would flatten him at some point in a fight.

As I said, I think inside 6, wouldn't be shocked if it ends in 3 though.
