There are no trains or buses that go from Genk to Hasselt after the game and yes taxis are quite expensive here and there are no uber available outside Brussels.

£57.50 for a ticket. Just noticed that. Again. Why???
We’ve got UEFA to thank for that with the price cap of €70 that they have set, it just means that every club will charge us full whack...or in the case of Genk, a whole €5 less.

Well in UEFA, that really showed them  ::)

It was €120 for a three group game ticket for Genk fans in the same area.

Mates of mine have booked the Eurostar to Hasselt, just had a look on the website at trains to Brussells and it says ''Your ticket is valid on any local train in Belgium for 24hrs from the time your Eurostar arrives, and for 24hrs before your Eurostar departs on your return journey.''

Does anybody know if this covers Hasselt or not? I'm on 11 credits so will only book up if I get sorted.

Given the fact that taxi's are expensive, would you advise pre-booking? As don't see any other way of getting back to Hasselt other than taxis. (If we get tickets as we're in the 11 credit scrum)

Liverpool FC have released the following ticket details for the Champions League fixture with KRC Genk at the Luminus Arena on Wednesday October 23.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 9pm local time.

LFC has received an allocation of 1,037 tickets for supporters to purchase.

Please note seats situated on the first three rows (rows 0, 1 and 2) are severely restricted in view due to the accessibility structure and advertising boards at pitch level within the stadium.

We have also received a further allocation of 240 top category seats that, in line with UEFA guidelines, will be used as part of the players' allocation, the club’s UEFA Youth League team’s players and staff, travelling club staff and VIPs.

Ticket collection process

The club will implement a random ticket collection process for this fixture. Bookings will be selected at random and all supporters within that booking will be required to collect their ticket from a designated location in Genk. Further details can be found below.

Ticket prices

Any of your lads drive? Not sure if there's a car rental place in Hasselt but I had a look from Brussels - was about EUR60 for a day. I just don't really trust myself to drive on the other side of the road. I have no idea what I'm doing after the game still!

Yeah, but like you wouldn't trust myself on the other side of the road. Have never done it in my life and not sure I'd be confident at midnight not knowing where I'm going in Belgium :D ;D ;D ;D

If we get tickets on Thursday, not holding out much hope, sure there'll be plenty looking to share cabs and minibuses back to Hasselt, as that appears to be where most are staying, if not no idea how to get back

Seems like loads will struggle to find travel from the ground to Hasselt after the game with no public transport and a lack of cabs

If there would be enough interest, I'd be willing to get a coach organized right from the ground to Hasselt. Done a few footie coaches before and prices over here are not very expensive.

I'll contact some local coach companies right away to check availability/prices. Don't spend too much time on this forum so maybe send a whatsapp to +32476351432 if you might be interested or have any questions.

How do you mean? There’s around 1100 dots on the seating plan from what I’ve just counted, but granted that could be wrong. Which is more than the allocation.

Seems about right to me. 1k allocation, less corporate ballot, sponsors etc.
Still about 400 left inc the restricted views. I thought more would be gone already.

Yeah me too, but looking highly unlikely to be any better than that, but it's dropping by the minute, probably better off checking in the morning to get a rough idea of how many are left, after the guaranteed ones have bought tonight when they get in from work

I wouldn't be shocked if it's less than 200 come 11am tomorrow, with over 100 in the severely restricted view bit

Needle in a haystack job mate. If you don't get straight on there's zero chance. If nigh on 900 have got tickets in this sale, then there's only 1100 chasing the 169 🤣🤣

Based on the above that says 885 qualified for the first sale, don't think many thought there would so few left over for the second sale. So a 14.6% chance, going to be very tough

Basically if you're not straight on the site when the sale starts you've a zero chance of getting tickets
