It has been said, if it wasn't yourself then my apologies, I'm happy to stand corrected on that point if you say it wasn't.Geoff is certainly guilty of this at times but so are you, while he does sometimes lash out and cross the line, you and others have also been quite snidey and crossed the line with him and other posters too over the years in the various politics threads we have had, so I don't really think anybody can claim innocence and it certainly isn't a one sided affair.
I've never read anyone on RAWK (or even on bloody twitter) say that the next leader should be a member of LFI. Twitter is full of people who want LFI out of the party entirely, let alone leading it. Geoff mentioned LFI out of context, so it was me who asked the question of him.

"It has been said" is obviously not the same as "you said it".  The best thing to do when you want to criticise something someone has said is quote the offending line first. It's so easy to do.

21 I read they had to get.

That was my point, let’s say Long-Bailey gets 40MPs, that doesn’t leave many from that side of the party for Lewis or Burgeon for example so I am not sure how much vote splitting there will be between different contenders on the harder Left of the party.

I’m pretty sure I have read the same thing here about LFI (and I’m not on Twitter), and likewise thought it was Yorky, but if it wasn’t then it wasn’t.

There must be splits under the surface. Firstly, because that's what the hard left does. At some point, the Lewis/old CLPD mantra on 'democratisation' of the party clashes with Union interests. Secondly, because the post-election analysis being pushed most vigorously at the moment ('it was Brexit') risks alienating a lot of the new members and large parts (but not all) of Momentum activists, if not leadership. Whether the split will manifest itself enough to see both Lewis and RLB get 21+ nominations remains to be seen.

Why would anyone on here insist on a Labour Leader being a member of LFI? I don't recall anyone saying and I'm sure I'd remember because it's such a bizarre thing to say.

It's the whole conspiracy fever-dream that insists any member of LFI is a Mossad agent whose the sole purpose in life is (was) preventing Corbyn becoming Prime Minister. As Corbyn is now stepping down, won't Mossad be disolving LFI?

And if stopping Corbyn becoming PM was Mossad's plan then I'd have a look at Milne, Murphy and McCluskey.

I had a suspicion that Abbott was working for Mossad, and in fact maybe she was. I think a few of her training courses have lapsed though, because she seems to have lost all the subtle arts, culminating with that confusion last week while searching for the shoes with the concealed cyanide pill. (Apparently she was told if things really got bad she could always use the cyanide pill, "But how do I get him to take it", she was heard whispering to herself as she hobbled off.

I don’t particularly care one way or the other, nor am I saying the next leader should be a LFI member or anything else regarding Mossad. I am just pointing out that I remember a similar post to the one being mentioned about the next leader of the party and the LFI. That’s literally all.

That's being unfair to Geoff - and certainly to me. I know I've never said that because I don't believe it. More than that I don't ever think about it.

The post in question was a rather long one that didn't mention Israel at all. Geoff's response - a typical one I have to say - was to ignore everything I said in favour of something he imagines he really meant.

Best not encourage him, or that kind of practice, I feel.

No real surprise you are yet again acting like a patronising twat, and you are allowed to be that way because some people think what you post is some sort of gospel in here.

i directed the comment at you about members of the LFI because over the years i have seen you in another thread bully, patronise  be sarcastic and frankly misrepresent anyone who might even slightly support the people on the west bank for what i would call decent and humane reasons.

If you cannot understand that choosing a leader who openly supports Israel or somebody who openly supports Hamas will cause some internal splits within the party then you need to look around you.

i dont need to read your diatribes they are all the same simply  focussed on your version of history alone and your selective version of what this party should be about.

You want socialism but you don't want it taken it too far to the left, you want some sterile version with the right of the party so they can have some wishy washy version of it where we have leaders privatising the NHS through the back door with PFI's or in education lets create an academy system that has since created massive chains of schools with recently quite a few corrupt CEO's running them and have not improved education that much, in fact failing schools have less help now than when the Lea's were in place.

Or we have a leader who said trying to win one election 'well we will not get rid of Austerity it will be just not quite as bad as the tory version and he was meant to be further to the left.

Lets not nationalise industries like the railways that deliver great profits to the shareholders but deliver a shite service throughout the country at massive costs to the users that's far too radical.

I get pissed off in here and elsewhere with selfish people who think only their opinion counts simply because i am out there on the streets helping people who are sleeping rough, i have known people who are not around anymore because of these bastard tory policies,  i see what's happening around me and i wanted a labour party to take that on board and deal with it and Corbyn's policies would, but all i read in here was not any support for policies like those Corbyn was putting forward but quotes more often than not lies gleefully taken from right wing press worthy of all the worst rags out there, posted and endlessly requoted by the same small group of posters.

Given the last few years we now have a population who are self centered and dont give a shit about people struggling around them.

Thatcher's legacy has come true any notion of a caring Society in this country is dead.

That is also sadly reflected in here.

Right i am off out,  now enjoy your evening. :wave
