You sure?
'u' is considered an upturned consonant, 'n'.
Someone should do the right thing - go back in time to 1992 and destroy the codes to Championship Manager before it is ever released

The word 'mundane' consists of 7 letters. 2 of which are vowels.

Are you sure?
You sure?

The readers of the mundane thread are still quite alert despite it being late-afternoon.

There are 3 vowels in the word 'mundane'

The position of my desk is such that a jutting cupboard blocks my monitor from being perfectly in alignment with the the desk edge. Although my keyboard, for which there is just enough space to spare after the monitor, is, in fact, perfectly aligned.

Thats very interesting, actually. I always thought ceramic capacitors would be used in power supply smoothing circuits. And  how DOES capacitance change with voltage, I do wonder.

Low voltage ratings....     You sound like one of our customers.  I love my job.

Low, Medium or high K ceramics?

Low, Medium or high K ceramics?

I assume "K" stands for something like dielectric constant? K = CV^2 therefore low voltage = high capacitance? (yes, my brain is working!?)

(I am not sure whether sounding like your customer is a compliment towards my knowledgeability or not -    do you make a disproportionately large amount  of money?  ;) )

The vending machine in work has just fauiled to fully dispense my white chocolate "crunch" bar.
This resulted in me purchasing  a packet of cheese and onion walkers in the futile hope that during their fall into my collection area, they may actually displace the aforementioned crunch bar.
It never worked.
Luckily, the crisps never got stuck behind the crunch bar, how i would have guffawed at that one.

My final attempt was to resort to the old fashioned shaking of the machine.
The machine has now gone into shut down mode, and will not even allow me to make any further purchases.

What a fucking shambles.

A client says her computer screen looks broken.  There are all sorts of lines and colours on it.  She asks if I can dial in through the internet and fix it.  I said no.  I also said switch computer monitors around as see if this makes a difference.  I also told her to contact her hardware people and not us.  She seemed happy enough with this response.
