38 - Brighton break down the right and Buckley manages to get a great ball into the middle even though he was been hassled by Bellamy and Robinson. Reina manages to save easily.

Apparently Stevie will get around 30 minutes (depending on if there is much extra time).

Foul - Cook takes Bellamy from behind and gets a talking to by the ref and Bellamy......Bellamy shoots from the free kick and hits the bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee has done well so far today IMO.

There´s been 4 fouls apiece and he´s kept his cards in his pocket so far and let the game flow.

All kidding aside. Been very impressed with Bellamy tonight. For an "old" player he's still exceptionally quick and linking well with Suarez. Lucas seems to be going into his challenges with a bit more force then usual, and I'm gonna be so bold as to say he can because of Spearing's movement.

Suarez is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand he is getting into positions and that old "you gotta create chances to miss them" malarky. I still think that if he doesn't score before the first 60 he could get easily annoyed.

43 - Buckley manages to skin our right defence and goes down in the box from a slight touch from a Liverpool defender. Ref says no penalty!!!!!! Bit of a dive really.

Replay shows Kelly gets the ball and pushes Buckley.....dive...

Meanwhile Spearing hits the post!!!!!!!!!

46 - Getting really sloppy at the back here. Noone with a shot from around 10 yards out....straight at Reina.....fumbles......Kelly manages to just slide in and kick the ball away as a Brighton player is running on......very close one. Liverpool really should be putting the chances they have away otherwise a goal from Brighton could change everything.

48 - Brighton make a hash of the free kick and shoot over.

Half time. Summary - Liverpool playing well, but wasted a lot of chances. Liverpool allowed Brighton to get back into it in the last 10 minutes before half time with a few chances, but just just managed to come off with a 1 0 lead.

Good First Half that from Liverpool. Bellamy took his goal well, Suarez of course with the assist. Suarez´s finishing still looks a little off though and you feel once he gets one he could start banging in plenty. He´s had two good chances today and failed to get either on target.

The Bellamy and Suarez partnership seems effective with them finding each others runs. They´ve also drawn 5 fouls between them. I can see us scoring from a Penalty or Free Kick as Brighton´s defence continues to struggle with our attacking pair.
