Wasn't my favourite series but it really come together in the final couple of episodes. Great ending.

Spoiler
Wasn't expecting that ending at all but I read somewhere that the trailer poster/image for season 3 shows Logan on one side with Gregg and Tom behind him and the 3 kids on the other. Based on that I will be paying close attention to the season 4 poster.

There were apparently 3 posters released and I don't believe any of them gave the alliances away. The only thing in the trailer was one scene with Logan ranting on with Tom in another room.

I read it in the metro but I guess there is a 4th poster that shows a slightly different configuration. I guess in truth though if they have made that many posters then they are not giving anything away that easily. The article in the metro assumes there was only one poster but it's clear searching the internet there were a few more. Oh well no clues there.

Absolutely loved this season, as much as the others. I’ve got a couple of questions:

Spoiler
1. I’m probably being thick here, are we sure it was Tom who tipped off Logan about the siblings’ plan? They were all phoning people in the car, so is it not possible one of those told Logan? Or even Greg, who Tom told?

2. Speaking of Greg, Tom is gay and in love/lust with him, right? Or have I completely misread the signals?  ;D[/

Tom had told Greg about Nero pushing his wife down the stairs. Nero then castrated a slave called Sporus and married him instead. In the scene when Tom asks if Greg wants to do a deal with the Devil he says Greg will be his Sporus. Tom is saying he's going to 'kill' Shiv. Despite the story I don't think it's a romantic liaison - more of a bromance.

And there's Logan's hand on Tom's shoulder in the doorway - reference to the Godfather

There's nothing I can add that hasn't been said better by others on here but that last episode was pure Shakespeare and confirms it as one of *the* best drama comedies in recent history if not ever.

I have one question which I'm sure can be easily answered here by people much smarter than I:

Fascinating interview with director Mark Mylod in Vulture
https://www.vulture.com/article/mark-mylod-succession-season-3-finale-interview.html

Spoiler
On Kendall's breakdown in the street:
Quote
I laid a booby trap for Jeremy. We didn’t tell him we were going to have two or three of the kitchen staff come out with trash bags and put them in the bins because I knew that would create a reaction that would hopefully be helpful to him.

Strong didn't know they'd be there, and as the New Yorker profile last week revealed, he's so method-y that it triggered Kendall's breakdown.

Just caught up on this show. Relatively fine first half of the season but boy did it finish well. The quality was just upped spectacularly. It definitely helps when they go to exotic locations out of NYC in my opinion. The best scenes are always abroad.

HBO are releasing the latest episode of The Last Of Us two days early to avoid that Super Bowl nonsense. If they have any balls they’ll release all of Succession season 4 at the time that “game” starts.

But they won’t.

Good, I think - only so long this story can go on and still be so interesting.

Although Jesse Armstrong has said he could imagine revisiting the characters down the line.

Last one, damn.

Seems to be HBO's modus operandi the last ten years since The Sopranos ended, They really don't like doing long running shows with GoT being the exception.

Should be a stellar season with an explosive closure.

Actually disagree with the above comment though, GOT was perfect for another 1-2 seasons, they rushed ending it.

Agree, because of the scope of the story Game of Thrones really could have gone on even longer. In the end it was just rushed.

Succession is much tighter in every regard. Good decision to end on a high.

We’ve just started our rewatch tonight! We’ll get it binge watched in time for the 26th. I can’t see them writing Greg into running the firm. It’s gotta be too well written for that. That’d on par with GOT landing Bran as the king at the end. Although, who knows. Maybe he’s the real Tomlette!
