Of course Trent could rotate into CM and Clyne play more at RB, but from what Klopp said recently I don't think he's inclined to do that.
What did Klopp say recently?

Hey who was sitting next to Curtis Jones in the stand directly behind Jurgen at the match Tuesday?  Was that a grown up/no more acne Woodburn?  Couldn't tell

The link should be into an article in www.madeupnonsense.com.  Not sure why there is a problem, unless it’s a dodgy site

RAWK can be a bit childish at time. They change certain words to other things I can only presume because someone somewhere finds it funny. It's not.

Anyway remove the + below and that is the article. Interesting to hear Klopp say that as alot of people presumed he would be moved bit he can just dominante the whole right channel on his own as Pep Lijnders said.

Thanks for sharing.

Herbie Kane is nowhere near the first team. If any of the kids are to play against Stoke, it would either be Woodburn or Jones

just thinking numbers by the way and IF we make it to Kiev will the likes of Wilson and Grujic be available to us for the squad as a back up? They wont be on loan anymore so will it come down to their age and our recorded B list or something for the competition?

You can add eligible players to the B list at any time, so maybe?

I think they needed to be born on or after 1st Jan 1996 and been at the club for two years since their 15th birthday. As long as they are on the B list submitted by 11PM UK time the day before they can play.

So Ojo/Wilson/Kent and Ejaria would be eligible. Not sure about Grujic though....

http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/academy/300407-report-gomes-and-lewis-on-the-mark-in-u23s-friendly-win

Toni Gomes netted twice and Adam Lewis was on the mark as Liverpool U23s beat Bangor City 3-0 in a friendly on Tuesday night.

Liverpool U23s: George, N Williams, Gallacher, Philips (R Williams), Johnston, Coyle (Sharif), Adekanye, Kane (Alves), Gomes (Millar), Lewis (Whyte), Dhanda.

Would be pretty cool if God got the job, though I can understand the shouts for a more experienced hand on the tiller. Still, he's been coaching on and off for a while hasn't he? Plus, well, he's God.

Yeah, don't know good he is a coach but he's the best finisher I've seen at the club - those three/four years when he was at his best were phenomenal - so him being at the club just for that reason is good enough for me :)

I seem to recall the club had Fowler, Jones and McManaman acting as mentors and coaches back when Rodgers was in charge. No idea, if they are still involved in that capacity.

No, an 'Everton' appointment would be to appoint someone with minimal talent and no real discernible qualities that you would want to be passed down to the kids. Like Phil Neville. Or David Unsworth. Or Francis "1-in-6" Jeffers. :D

Someone like Neil Ruddock - for example.

Only if you consider Gerrard to have been an 'Everton appointment'.

Fowler has had his coaching badges for a while, has already coached at our academy and set up a successful one of his own (https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fowler-football-academy-expansion-anniversary-12578176).

We wouldn't be doing a former player a favour by giving him a job, Fowler would be qualified to do it.

Possibly, but is he the best option? He's been retired as a player for a very long time now, and he has been working on a part time basis with the Academy for most of that time. If he is really that great a youth coach, why has nobody noticed and given him a full time job until now?

I've no idea, if he is the best option then I don't see why he won't get the job.

To say appointing him would be an 'Everton appointment' is just wide of the mark IMO, makes it sound like we'd appoint him because we'd be doing a former player a favour in giving him the job.

Massive opportunity. A big influx of new coaches will likely mean we go after the highest rated guys breaking through - the likes of Ljinders of 2018. That brings with it a new eye to assess things, new ideas, fresh approaches etc. Get this right and not only do you take any setback in your stride, you could use it to propel to a whole new level.

A lot of these coaches were brought to the club under Rodgers (obviously not Buvac)? While his assistants may have had people questioning their abilities (what is Colin Pascoe up to these days?), he seemed to have an eye for youth setups.
