Pepe Reina in the Sainsbury's Local in Sutton Coldfield by the Crown pub just now. Eating a bag of crisps at the counter with his daughter

haha I wish I'd spoken to him now. His daughter was asking him if she could buy some sweets so he was very preoccupied. Nobody else seemed to recognise him. That's the Formby of Birmingham, all the Villa footballers seem to live round there

Joe Gomez on the same flight back from LA to Heathrow as me today.

Brief chat as it was not a great flight for obvious reasons, but said “unbelievable so far mate - keep it up” reply was “that’s the plan” didn’t ask for selfie or anything as he was with his missus and it felt rude to do so.

The reason you shouldn't have asked for a selfie is you're 49 year old mate.  ;)

Walked past Raheem Sterling outside the Dakota Hotel in Manchester - posh place full of the ghastly, tasteless cars that the rich like. Taller than I imagined.

Just walked by Pogba at Manc airport meet and greet car park. Heavily strapped right ankle and on crutches, I can’t see him playing on Sunday. Read he was training in Dubai so must have just got off the overnight Emirates.

Was he still dabbing with his crutches?

Should've asked him what day they are dropping the PL Trophy off at Anfield and if he wanted to pop in to see the European Cup?

Have just seen Mo Salah walking with his daughter on the road behind wilmslow High Street (obvz quieter) than the main drag. Had to step of the kerb to let him past. Was very hard  not to go into fanboy mode but I just stepped off the kerb to allow the Egyptian king to pass smiling from ear to ear. I did start singing his song a few moments later walking the other way and I hope he heard me. He has just moved here, my son will go crazy if he sees him. Ps always see Milner about too. I used to work in a shop in Alderley Edge too and used to regularly serve Didi hamann, David Thompson, Crouchie, Danny Murphy and quite a few other footballers like Tim Cargill and the Manc guys.

Milner lived on the road where Wilmslow Golf Club is I think. Not that he ever returns my mail.

Must have been when he was on those diet pills.

I worked as a waitress waiter in a cocktail bar shite Italian chain restaurant there back in the day and a few Mancs used to come in. I think I accidentally snapped a corkscrew in the bottle in front of Ronny Johnsen and back when City were shite the mighty Jeff Whitley asked me for the jack and Jill because he’s a fucking idiot.

Ken Barlow is the Holy Grail though. Absolute royalty. I did see Leanne Battersby knocking around a while back.

Saw Trent's older brother at the Costa on Queens Drive Wednesday. Almost had one of those eager 'fan' moments; wanted to go over and say hi but decided against it. Would be surprised if they still live in West Derby. Would've thought they'd have moved to the posh part of Formby or some Cheshire mansion by now. But nice to see him in my neck of the woods. If he's here, Trent can't be far away. Somehow this comforts me. :lmao
