I've been wondering how he is for a while now. I miss him posting here, and assumed he'd just binned it off while as there was no football.

I hope he's ok.

Oi, how come nobody ever mentioned me in this thread? Not that I've read it all of course ....

Seriously though to everyone over the years who I ever shared the conversations with about whether and when we'd ever win it again, to everyone who shared with me the highs and the lows but let's face it just the general euphoria and drunkenness of following the Mighty Reds, I'm thinking of you all as we celebrate and I raise a glass to every one of you. Maybe even a big hug for some of you.

If you're wondering where I've been, well nowhere* really, since I haven't been able to afford to go the match much for the last ten years or so I just didn't enjoy forums** much.

*i.e. still mostly stuck in Leeds.

Yeah mate, can't complain, hope you too.

Had no teaching work for a while so was well placed to do what suited me during lockdown, which has been to do agency work in the hospitals in Leeds, as a messenger collecting/delivering the paper records round the wards, low waged but rewarding in a way just to be part of "the situation", and my Mrs got a new job just days before lockdown which has turned into co-ordinating voluntary workers in Leeds, plus both had mild C-19 way back in March and got that out the way no probs, so we've 'had a good war' here.

Great to get a couple of replies and be remembered after all these years.
