Good thread.

"Don't mean to be mean, but I would take Matip, Gomez and Konate way before I had to consider the Manchester Barge."

"There's biased opinions, then there's sheer insanity. Neither of those are better than Maguire, and its debatable whether they're even better than Lindelof."

The Manchester Barge can Barge without giving away a penalty though.
That has to be worth something.

It is funny that this was only a few months ago and so many of them were throwing Maguire’s name into top 5 in the world mix. Now fast forward six months and every single one of them now knows Maguire is complete shite and want him gone.

I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

Ragy basically telling the press he knows they are shite. At least he is honest.

“We had the clearer chances to win, but right now we are struggling to keep our composure and the structure for more than the first half."

On expectations: "We have to understand where we are. [Southampton] won 2-3 at Tottenham, and they expected to win easily. We got a point today; we expected three and needed three, but that is the situation. That is why there was a change of manager and why we are here."

No surprises really, now they are expected to press and run, they are burned out by half time. Thing is, that United team is surprisingly old and if they don't have the running in the legs by now, I doubt they will make the gap up over the summer. So, you will see a lot of older players looking fitter over the summer and good for the first ten games, before their lack of fitness over time and their age begin to wear down trhe squad. Basically United will need to rebuild the entire squad if they are to switch to a pressing game.
Beatings will continue until morale improves...

Mad growing up with them winning the league all the time and us being pretty shit, now they don't have one player that would get in our match day squad, perhaps Sancho (on potential not performances) and De Gea (slightly better than Adrian but not Kelleher) could make a 25 man squad.

Rangnick has had possibly the easiest fixture list I've ever seen over a long period in this league and he's made a total arse of it.
