i don't like the unpopular opinion thread but i need the thread to exist to post a comment about how i wish it didn't exist

at the moment the thread does exist as i am posting in it and therefore viewing the actuality, but when i look in another thread then does it still exist or not?

Yeah its weird to criticise people from England for supporting England. Whats also weird is the expectation that footy fans from the more indigenous parts of Britain should support England as they are neighbours, when Football is generally the antithesis of this.

Thanks for that, really interesting. The first video mentioned 'Believe' by Cher and 'One More Time' by Daft Punk which are blatantly using autotune and it's overtly part of the song which is fair enough but yeah, when it's done subtly all the time (like the Michael Buble one), it definitely robs songs of personality. Thankfully I couldn't name any song in the top 10 and and more the 'indiest of indie' type as one of the videos mentioned so I don't have to worry about it

Risking the wrath of Mr Muller for expressing my opinion, the Verve were very much one of those 'of the time' bands. Loved them at the time, but their music hasn't really stood up to the test of time. Like the Stone Roses, Oasis and others.
