Everton, man. What a classy club. Top speech by Martinez and top gesture going on at Goodison. Respect.
Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.

You should literally be skinned for such a fucking daft answer :o

Amazing service. Martinez's and Rodgers' speech were wonderful. As was Aspinall's, Hicks' and Burnham's.

Wonderful memorial.

Great speeches from everyone but certainly Roberto and Brendan. Fantastic to see so many tributes to Kenny, and I'd be surprised if many people didn't choke up on seeing Kenny so struggling with emotion. The scarf "96" was a really nice touch too.

I didn't quite understand why LFCTV couldn't show it live but BBC News could?

There were some fabulous words said throughout anyway.

I thought Martinez was great today. When you consider his age & that English isn't his 1st language. Rodgers also spoke well.

Very very difficult service today.  Beautiful at the same time though as always.

Maybe could of done without 'Now your gonna believe us' as the players filed out at the end, only my opinion though.

Martinez is a class act
If my assistant had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty and sent off goalkeeper Patr Cheh. he beeped me to signal the foul. The noise from the crowd  stopped me hearing it, I have been involved at places like Barcelona, Ibrox, Old Trafford, Arsenal, but I've never in my life been involved in such an atmosphere. IT WAS INCREDIBLE

Maybe it wasn't a case of couldn't but that they were being more cautious

I can only assume that they didn't have the resources to be able to edit the footage on the fly (if the need arose), whereas BBC did. I guess anything slightly controversial that was broadcast on a Liverpool Channel would have a much worse affect on things. We all know that certain factions of authority would love any excuse to hinder the case and blame us for it.

Margaret said it right and I guess that;s that.

Nevertheless, another beautiful and poignant service and fantastic speeches by two young managers who were mere teenagers at the time. It was a lovely moment when Brendan mentioned Kenny and all the work he did.

Let's hope we will have some justice by the time the next remembrance comes around.

Disappointed with the crowd numbers, less there today than for the 20th I reckon. BBC1 NW saying 40k there, what a plonker he was. After the hulabaloo over tickets as well. Upper Centenary, Upper Anny and Paddock not open. Plenty of space at the Anny Road end of the Lower Centenary and spaces, although not much, in the Kop and Main Stand. I have an idea why there were spaces, but a lot of people didn't get the opportunity.

Speeches were ok and generally what you might expect, but disappointed again with the way people were spoken about and praised, both in the ground and on here. Many people were picked out and praised for one thing or another including Andy Burnham. Ok he's done a job, of sorts, and been called a legend earlier on here. Five years ago he could have been lynched. In comparison there's someone who's contribution to the cause really is second to none and ended up with such a brief mention today I felt like screaming out. I really do think it's unforgivable that Anne Williams was more or less 'passed over' today. Do people really have such short memories of that ladies efforts over the many, many years of this campaign???
Been there, done that, getting older, bordering on part timer status. So sad but that's life.

I may be shot down for this. But I wish there was a lot less religious ceremony, it winds me up if I’m being brutally honest. I know many of the families will no doubt want that involvement and I of course respect that, but I wish there was less of it.

Andy Burnham's speech.  Apologies if the sound is a bit tinny.
She keeps getting texts off him saying "Oh please take me back, I love you and I'm still not over you". We read them together naked and then we laugh about it. Then she blows me off.
