Hi guys I am in Paris for the match. Does anyone know of a decent place in the centre that I could catch the match?
;D  Mate of mine and me are the same, everyone swears we are brothers when we're out. He calls me slaphead, I call him slaphead, so when I see him I go "slap" and he replies "slap. People be looking and thinking what the f**k are these 2 on  ;D
but he's a blue nose, so he's a c*nt

I'm in central London for a few days. Not far from Old Street station.  Any suggestions for a decent pub that will show the football tonight and the CL Tues-Wed that does decent food too?

I was down there Friday (Old Street Station) and walked past a joint called Football Crazy - Never been there myself but looked the goods to me.

Old St, well then you're in luck Burger Bear have a place there (http://www.burgerbearuk.com/#about) at least I think it has opened. And read that Honest Burger (http://www.honestburgers.co.uk/) have opened this week. Two rather amazing burger spots.

You can't move in old street for wanky burger bars. Actually that goes for the whole of London.

Anyone know of any red friendly pubs near Oxford Circus / Piccadilly Circus - meeting up with friends not into footy and the pub we meet up in doesn't show games.

Thanks

Never been in before but there's the Spread Eagle on Woodstock Street, which is just off Oxford Street between Oxford Circus and Bond Street tube stations. Also there's the Freemasons Arms in Covent Garden, which was 90% Liverpool fans when I was in for the home League Cup semi against Chelsea last season.

I was in Balham on Sunday and ended up watching the game in a little Thai bar.  All the other pubs had the rugby on.  One pub even had our game advertised, but changed channels!  :no

The Old Coffee house in carnaby street is a decent 'pub' pub to watch football in and just drink if you aren't watching.

The Euston Flyer pub on Euston Road, between Euston and Kings Cross station. That's where we're heading to in 10 minutes.
Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

Unfortunately I've ended up having my meeting cancelled and I'm now stuck in Southend hoping to see it in a dodgy sports bar with loads of Essex stereotypes. ... 😠😠😠

If you're ever in north London give the Shilelagh in Stoke newington a visit. Good little gang of exiled scousers in there for most games. And it's a proper decent old pub.

Would it be worth organising this thread in the way that the guide to overseas pubs has been done?
Yes.
Defo.
I can't edit posts anymore but I reckon this thread needs a list of pubs in the first post, broken down by areas in London. That way anyone in town for the night can quickly find the nearest red friendly boozer.
Good idea

I'll put the posts in here and ask a mod to add links to the posts in the OP. I've split it into Central, North, South, East and West. I'll improve it in due course but I tend to think this is at least better than a slap round the face with a wet haddock.

Here goes ....

[22 Apr 2008]: My top tip is Bar on Tot, on Tottenham court road full of city reds who don't mind a sing song Bog screen too.
[23 Apr 2008]: Yeah i know it. Bar at TCR. Seen a couple of games in there - last one was the Arsenal first leg - buzzing atmosphere. Really small though - it can get jammed. Drinks are probably a bit cheaper than central london prices too, but not by much.
[20 Feb 2015]: I've been in the bar at tcr before and its not a good place to watch football. The screen is small and it gets quite busy at times so your view might get restricted. The best places close to there are the fitzrovia belle (fifty yards further up Tottenham court road towards Euston road) or the Rising Sun (on Tottenham court road near Oxford Street). I don't know the Spread Eagle.

[27 Nov 2013]: I've watched a few matches in the past at The Freemasons Arms which is just off Drury Lane. They have 3 or 4 screens and is not a bad pub.

[29 Apr 2008]: A few of us are going to the Hops Bar which is near Covent Garden, off the strand, a gang from the forum "Est 1892" plus some peeps from where I work.
[14 Apr 2016]: I have a table booked at Nook Bar in Covent Garden for the match tonight, the last review for it on here seems to be from 2008 so I can let you all know how it is tomorrow. I can also recommend the Walkabout in Temple as it’s where I watched last week’s game, quite a few Reds and Germans in there so it was impossible to get a table beyond 7pm even with the large amount of seats and tables. Loads of screens and floor space though. A fair few after work drinkers not interested in the football were hanging around too.
[14 Apr 2016]: Been To Nook Bar few times myself, always thought it wasn't great for atmosphere, you're probably better off going down to Maple Leaf, or Walkabout again, both are down the road from Nook. I could be wrong though.
[15 Apr 2016]: So as it turns out the Nook bar was pretty empty, good in some ways as we had no problem getting a table or served quickly but atmosphere was non-existent. Think we’ll try Maple Bar next time (was all booked up when we tried to reserve a table there earlier this week). The lack of people also made sure I could get full-time Jagerbombs in with no queue :P

[4 May 2007]: This was posted earlier on EST forum - Temple Walkabout holds 950 people in 2 rooms, Flat screen TV's everywhere, plus 3 Projectors + BIG Screens. Best place in London to watch footy/rugby cricket. Wicked atmosphere, was there for Rugby World Cup 2003. (btw cheers is full of eastern Europeans whenever I have been there) [This message has been edited by djwozza (edited 04 May 2007).] ****** I know the guy who owns the Temple walkabout franchise. We've already had the banter and his view is this - as many red as as possible (950 capacity) to come down as early as possible, bring loads of flags to get the place drapped in red, admission only to those wearing an LFC red top (as we're playing in red in the final)
[21 May 2007]: It is a good venue this place: big, loads of bar staff, good views of big screens all round (at least in the big room when i was there) and if we fill it the atmosphere there will be as good as you'll find in central London.
[21 May 2007]: Just phoned the Walkabout and spoke to a bloke there called Simon who says yes, they are showing the game, and no, the door policy isn't red shirts only: 'Don't know where you got that from mate.'
[23 May 2007]: A NZ pal of mine has told me that it has been quality in there when they have shown NZ rugby - used the phrase mosh pit ...
[23 May 2007]: Fucking shite expensive pub, full of glory hunting Cockneys with their 'Liverpole, Liverpole, Liverpole' chants. I'd have been better off at home.
[24 May 2007]: Kind of agree with you, even if I'm a London red. Thought the place could and should've been a lot livelier - too many tourists, and probably half the crowd there, out of about 600 people, didn't seem to know the words to anything apart from YNWA. Like trying to get a song going at a wake half the time. Still, I don't wanna reopen the OOT debate, but we win together and lose together mate. And if you can't take that in London then you're best off heading back home for the match.
[24 May 2007]: I'm sure among those 'glory hunting reds' there were a lot of genuine London Reds that you have tarred with the 'glory hunting' brush. Did you expect a Scouse pub in the middle of London?
[24 May 2007]: You mean there were actually Londoners chanting in London accents paying London prices in a pub in the middle of London??  :butt
[24 May 2007]: Good point, but it was pretty poor in there. Think for next season it'd be good to nail a decent, mid-sized pub where it's just a hardcore of fans and make it a regular fixture. I'd still say 60-70 per cent of the crowd in the Walkabout last night have never been to Anfield and never will.
[24 May 2007]: Walkabout served its purpose last night, lots of big screens, lots of beer, and we had a decent singsong, even if only about a third joined in (we even got one airing of PST ffs so couldnt have been that bad...even if only about 5 people sang it all the way through!).
[24 May 2007]: ... seemed to be us lot near the bar and entrance that tried to start the singing, :butt i know i never stopped
[24 May 2007]: Yea, we were down by the entrance too ... Was a good group down that end, i enjoyed the night (bar the result of course). The lads complaining were obviously at the wrong end of the place! Can you hear the far end sing, noooo, noooo!
[23 May 2007]: couldnt hear many singing to be honest, i tried on many an occasion to get a song goin, only me mates and a few other joined in, only one or two really took off
[21 Apr 2008]: It's great for these nights, huge pub full of reds cracking if we win, pub is rancid normally but great for watching sport.
[28 Apr 2008]: Cant touch the Walkabout - massive screen - 20+ all round the sides - even screens over the urinals - there'll be plenty of singing if me Andy, Dee and Mon are about - every fucking syllable loud and proud - plenty of Scouser Tommy and Liverbird renditions - well at least up to verse 8 ;-)! It gets busy mind - better be in by 6pm.
[28 Apr 2008]: Was in there for the final last year and thought it was pretty lame to be honest. Too many tourists, and the singing was confined to a few pockets. Happy to be persuaded otherwise, cos if it was full of reds it would be ideal. Just seems to be full of part-timers…
[19 Nov 2009]: I watch most of our away Champions League games in the Walkabout and it is normally a good atmosphere, Always far more reds in there then Chelsea, Arsenal or Mancs, Although I haven't watched a league match in there before!
[19 Nov 2009]: Plus the first song the DJ plays straight after the game is YNWA. Walkabout is also cheap. Last time I was there some fit woman behind the bar game me a 25% of token I could use for the whole night. If we have any chance of qualification in the game against Fiorentina, then it will be a toss up between Walkabout and Ruse.
[14 Apr 2016]: I have a table booked at Nook Bar in Covent Garden for the match tonight. I can also recommend the Walkabout in Temple as it’s where I watched last week’s game, quite a few Reds and Germans in there so it was impossible to get a table beyond 7pm even with the large amount of seats and tables. [27 Apr 2007]: I've done sports cafe in the past and it's usually been fine, even with both sets of supporters in there.
[27 Apr 2007]: Sports Cafe can have lots of Reds but can have massive queues outside (and often shows other sports).
[2 Apr 2008]: I plan on going to the Sports Cafe in Central for the Chelsea games and the Final! It's just off Leicester Square. Warning, there will be Yanks about. Not specifically a Liverpool pub, but its a decent venue to watch sports - clue's in the name.
[2 Apr 2008]: yeh, ive only been there once to watch an england game there ages ago, it was pretty good for that but i agree that it is a bit of a generic place
[2 Apr 2008]: there will be a load of us in the sports cafe too. loads of yanks agreed but loads of tvs too. unless i get a ticket before 5 ish.
[2 Apr 2008]: Never been to the Sports cafe since a Manc waitress (who was a munter by the way) made a nasty gesture to me and my friend when Everton scored against us in the Derby a couple of years back. I fear if I go back there I may throw a pint over her. Not normally one for being aggressive towards the ladies, but this really pissed me off. F3K all the way now.
[2 Apr 2008]: Just been traf square in sports cafe now its filling up fast few reds about. They've reserved most of the down stairs for food tables which is pretty stupid as it's rammed upstairs! Might make it a better atmos who knows.
[3 Apr 2008]: I was in Sports Cafe really good fun downstairs. Also got a 'scoop,' saw the landlord for the F3K in there asked him what he was doing there -he said he's left F3K and started at Sports Cafe on Monday. Said he's been given a blank canvas and it's defo gonna have a red's emphasis because he's a big Liverpool fan. Good chat.
[3 Apr 2008]: Hope he does a good job with the Sports cafe, really does stink in there at the minute. Shame though, hope the 3kings doesn't stop showing the naughty games.
[7 Apr 2008]: If you have any choice in the matter - don't go. It's awful.
[17 Oct 2008]: I would recommend the sports bar at Haymarket, near Picadilly. I watched the Man City game 2 sundays ago. They have those funny arab channels.

[30 Mar 2014]: I am planning to go to the Sports Bar and Grill at Victoria Station for the Man City game. We are having a family trip to London that weekend. With two young kids (7&5), a regular crowded pub is not really an option - although I would love the kids (and the wife) to experience a good atmosphere. Sitting down and having a meal during the match seems like a civilsed idea (well they will be having a meal - I will be trying to drink the bar dry with a bit of salty food to strengthen the thirst). Can anyone who knows the area give me an idea of how it will be inthe Sports Bar & Grill - or suggest better places. I am working away so don't get to see the wife and kids every night, so they are a priority - as they always would be anyway, but suggestions would be welcome. Cheers. Andy
[30 Mar 2014]: It's a bit of an 'as you might expect' bar that, Andy. Pub grub, loads of screens and loads of tables. It's never been busy in there, but I've never been on a match day. Certainly nice enough for a bit of lunch and the match, I would reckon.
[30 Mar 2014]: Used to be horrendous but they did it up a few years ago. Can't imagine it'll be chocka, but if you've got the little ones that's probably a good thing I guess :)

[3 Jan 2007]: always shows the LFC Sky games in preference to whoever else is on, including all the London Teams. (No dodgy Mideast stations though). I think the Manager is a Red !! Good screens in all bars and always some real ale, sausage and mash or sausage butties recommended.
[25 Apr 2007]: Landlord is a red and you get a few reds in there but also a few nob eads. Not the best place but 4 screens and can be a good atmosphere
[25 Apr 2007]: I've been there couple of times and always a couple other of reds watching (other people usually just 'pub folk'). Was there in the FA Cup final and the athmosphere was great!

[2 May 2007]: Huge atmosphere, great night.
[21 May 2007]: 3 or 4 screens, the manager is a red !! Real ales etc. Good atmosphere.
[24 May 2007]: was crap: No beer glasses, hopeless service, not enough staff on, four staff trying to look after three bars and a full house.

[24 Apr 2014]: Watched 1st half of Arsenal home game there this season, before having to jump a train back to Liverpool for 2nd half. Filled with Reds, but not too packed. Best moment was about 5 mins before half-time when an Arsenal fan, in work overalls etc, nipped in to check out the score. His face was a fucking picture. He left quickly in disgust.

Paddington
[14 Nov 2008]: If you don't mind a short tube journey (15-20min). Head to the Famous 3 Kings. It is literally next door to West Kensington tube station and will be full of reds. I will be heading down there You can get details of the tube here: www.tfl.gov.uk
[14 Nov 2008]: I know there's an offcial Aberdeen supporters pub near Paddington - probably not a great help to you though! I used to work near Paddington and there's plenty of boozers around but none that were particularly Liverpool friendly.
[14 Nov 2008]: Marylebone Tup on Marylebone High Street or the Allsop Arms on Gloucester Place are both about 15minutes walk from Paddington, and are both alright for Liverpool games (alright though rather than amazing). The area around Paddington itself is pretty crap really for pubs to be honest. F3K could well be your best bet as said above.
[14 Nov 2008]: 15 minutes from paddington? you must be a fast walker ;)
[14 Nov 2008]: Atmosphere is usually pretty good [at F3K], the manager is a red. Plays YNWA before the game. If you are planning on going out then just jump on tube after game and head into central london, covent garden, leicester square etc. Remember that the last tubes are at around 1230ish. However, the night bus network is amazing and there will be a bus (probably 2 or 3) back to paddington from central london if you stay out late. Try and have a rough idea about where u are going tho so that u can see what buses go from there, tfl.gov.uk !

[13 Aug 2007]: show games on either setanta ireland [ROI version] or arabic [art]. ALWAYS show LFC games - and they are able to show more than one game at a time - as have numerous plasmas and 2 BIG screens. Really nice pub - if not a little expensive

[27 Oct 2008]: It's OK, although not as good as it used to be. Generally seems to have more Arsenal fans than anything else, but there's never any trouble.
[12 Nov 2008]: Assembly Rooms is a nice pub, but last time i was in there (for the Mancs away last season) they refused to turn up the volume on the tv. On Sundays it's also packed with slightly cheesy Antipodeans getting well oiled before heading over the road to The Church, god bless em. There's nowhere really lively in Kentish Town or Camden, reds-wise. The White Horse in Hampstead is a lovely old boozer, but not red-centric.

[7 Apr 2014]: If you want somewhere handy to get to Wembley, you could try the Railway in West Hampstead. It's right next to the tube, which is on the jubilee line, 10 mins direct to Wembley Park. Turn left out of W Hampstead tube station and it's on the corner. It's a generic pub, but a lot of people drink there before going to Wembley. Its got a big screen and TVs.
[7 Apr 2014]: Am living in West Hampstead at the moment. The Railway is a decentish pub. Usually get quite a lot of reds in there. Couple of the barstaff are reds also. Saying that it is right next to the tube so whilst you are perfect for getting up to Wembley it will be absolutely heaving on Sunday with Hull and Sheff U fans as well as people watching our game. I'd recommend it but you need to be in 30mins pre kick off minimum I'd say. Other alternatives in Kilburn are the Brondes Age, very close to Kilburn tube station; or the Old Bell near Kilburn High Road overground station. Railway would be my pick of the three though also.

[18 Apr 2015]: A great LFC friendly pub in west london - 3 miles away from Wembley - is The Masons Arm - 665 Harrow rd, NW10, great atmosphere, great food, great pub to enjoy the game or pre game as its opposite Kensal Green station which is 20 mins away from Wembley station - cant recommend it enough.

www.yelp.co.uk/biz/the-kings-london
[27 Jan 2008]: The king's head in Islington has now changed hands - so is not run by reds anymore. It is friendly though.
[3 Jan 2007]: I often go to the King's Head. Not sure if it is specifically a 'Liverpool' pub but they have the Arab channel and they always have the Liverpool game on and everyone in there seems to support them. One of the bar ladies was wearing a Liverpool shirt for the game on Saturday as well. It was quite funny being and north London playing Tottenham and when Garcia's goal went in the whole place went nuts hahaha.
[3 Jan 2007]: not sure if it's officially an LFC pub but there doesn't seem to be any shortage of supporters watching whenever they play - as I say, even when playing London clubs the Liverpool supporters outnumber. Should be interesting when we play arsenal though, considering it's Gooner territory.
[27 Apr 2007]: Good pub run by Liverpool supporters. Will be heaving with Reds
[30 Apr 2007]: I'll be in the Kings Head tomorrow. The more the merrier. If the atmosphere doesn't work out O'Neill's is only up the road. C'mon.................... Want to have a hangover and an Athens trip to book Weds morning
[30 Apr 2007]: The Kings Head on Essex Road is not great. For a start it's full of old timers and they won't appreciate the chanting. There is a big screen but it's at the front of the pub and you won't be able to see it if only a few stand up. One of the chain pubs will be better. I've watched in O'Neills before and it would be a much better venue.
[1 May 2007] (after the game): I was in the King's head on Essex Rd and it was good - a friendly, lively bunch of reds, good banter, and some raucous singing. A nice drop of beer too, friendly (Red) landlords and good visibility. But it's not a massive pub and i think for the final it might be a bit on the small side.
[9 Aug 2007]: was pretty good for the 2nd leg of the Semi last year - the landlord's missus is a Red from what I remember.
[12 Aug 2007]: Decent crowd in there yesterday, not much singing until the 2nd goal though. A heads up for anyone that goes there, the landlord/lady have bought a place down by Old Street tube and will be moving there mid-September. Can't remember the name of the place (the something Star) but she was saying it's bigger and has pool tables as well as two big screens.
[13 Aug 2007]: I was there for the villa game as well, was a good crowd actually, a lot better than normal, probably because it was on setanta. Good to hear a bit of singing etc, good stuff.
[13 Aug 2007]: Reckon I'll keep going there until they move to the new place (landlady is a red -hence the This Is Anfield sign over the bar). Going to be out of town this weekend so won't be there for the Chelsea game - but I reckon there will be a decent crowd there.
[19 Oct 2007]: I will most likely be watching it at the New Rose, also on Essex Road, just a bit further down away from Upper Street
[11 Jan 2008]: Good reds pub, landlady's a red, good beer, show most games on a big screen. Quite a few RAWKites in there.
[27 Jan 2008]: The king's head in Islington has now changed hands - so is not run by reds anymore. It is friendly though.

[1 May 2007]: I'm off to the o'neills I think.. Like someone on here earlier said, I think the spec's just a bit too shit in the king's head. And I'm not sure how much the chanting will be appreciated. The fuck off projector screen has a good view for most places in o'neills.
[2 May 2007]: Ended up being pretty good. Got so much singing and shouting in I couldn't speak this morning. Loads of reds. Got pretty heated at the end. Great night :)
[2 May 2007]:    Aye was good night in there. Almost got offered out by some dick in a suit – who then got disowned by the guys he was with. Never drank Stella so quickly in my life. Prob had 5 pints in the first half. Ended up in Walkabout next door after and apparently got into a bit of a scrape in there.
[29 Mar 2008]: Was pure quality last May for the CL final, packed with reds belting out songs all night. It is pretty close to the Emirates, so there will be gooners around too.

[1 May 2007]: The old queen's head is boss.. but not really the kinda place for a sing along. They do a mean eggs benedict downstairs though.

Islington
[1 Apr 2008]: I used to live in Islington myself and there's loads of good pubs to watch the footy. The best places are around Newington Green and Essex Road as they are mainly locals compared to Upper Street. However, most are obviously Arsenal pubs but Liverpool aren't hated around there.

[22 Nov 2015]: Was around Crouch Hill area looking for any place showing the game and ended up at a place called the old dairy. One of those gastro pubs with nice interior at one part and a main room with less of that and a big projector showing the match. One possible to add as most of the others on the list in that area wasn't showing the football.
[22 Nov 2015]: Fun fact alert. On the mural outside, one of the dairy maids has got six fingers. End of facts.

Finsbury Park
[2 Jan 2007]: The problem with Finsbury Park is that it's basically Highbury.
[3 Jan 2007]: I'm a scouser and have lived in and around north london since 1986, including islington, so I know the area well. Finsbury Park has a few decent pubs around the tube station including the Worlds End, where you can watch the game and pick up birds to boot. You'll also find a decent crowd at the Famous Cock next to Highbury & Islington tube. Head north from Finsbury Park and you'll find Crouch End, which is a bit posher and the Kings Head pub has big screens. There are plenty of places to avoid around there, but they'll be obvious to you.

[25 Nov 2007]: Shows LFC over arsenal - the pubs a shithole though and the clientele a motley crue (weird, not voilent). Also the agricultural on chapel market N1 is good for the match. The Queens Head at Turnpike Lane is a no-no though. Big crowd (cosmopolitan I think they call it) for reds games but not the type of crowd an upstanding citizen would mix with, unless they like stabbings, shootings, being robbed and being surrounded by London's finest scum.

[17 Mar 2014]: This isn't really a recommendation or anything, but I was in down in London for a mates surprise birthday party, and I went in The Junction (St Pauls Rd, Highbury & Islington) yesterday for the match -- there was a heavily Arsenal supporting crowd in there waiting for the Spurs game, and they were laughing at United and cheering us on... which given the top 4 situation I found surprising. Guess they just appreciate it when football wins and shite loses, comically!

I was the only LFC shirt in the place. ... not going back there.
[27 Oct 2008]: Relatively nearby to the Big Red I would suggest the New Rose on Essex Road or the Nobody Inn in Newington Green... both friendly pubs with plenty of reds

[25 Nov 2007]: A smashing traditional pub, which is a Liverpool supporter's pub. Landlord is a proper RED! Had a great night watching the semi of the Euro Cup last year against Chelsea. Funny as F**K, 3 Brompton road Bum Boys came in expecting a normal night in a norf london boozer, only to to chanted out the place by half time. Good Beer, honest food - geat laugh.
[25 Feb 2009]: By far the best pub to watch the Reds in the Finsbury Park area. Five minutes walk from Hornsey station or a bus ride from Finsbury Park. It's a decent boozer and you get proper reds in there. That's my advice anyway, if you're new to the area.
[29 Oct 2010]: may have posted this before , BUT the HOPE & ANCHOR on Tottenham High Road in Crouch End is as Liverpool a pub as you will find in North London. It's run by a smashing fella, who I think is from Norris Green but I cant be sure. Anyway it is always full of Liverpool supporters who know their songs and aren't afraid to sing. I watched an LFC v Chelsea game in there and solitary 'Rent Boy' left after 25 mins ! Now, that might sound a bit nasty - but if he'd had anything about him he would have stayed and joined in the banter which was at all times good natured. But it does demonstrate the 'Redness' of the pub. PS - be careful on the pool table theres some sharp players in there.
[29 Oct 2010]: Cheers mate, will head down there next time. I tend to stick to O'Neills in Muswell Hill, but there was a load of Mancs in for the Derby the other week. Wasn't pleasant.

[2 Feb 2012]: Where I live in Stoke Newington, the local boozer is full of people from all over the place but there's a group who I end up watching the matches with who are Liverpool fans. It's a real melting pot of cultures though and there's some good banter that goes on.
[25 Feb 2012]: I fucking love a pint of Guinness with the match in the old shillelagh.
[26 Feb 2015]: Not sure if it's been mentioned on here before but the Auld Shillelagh in Stoke Newington is a great Liverpool friendly Irish pub. Always shows the 3pm kick offs on a Saturday. Guinness is fucking tasty as well and only £3.80 - damn steal :)
[6 Nov 2015]: If you're ever in north London give the Shilelagh in Stoke newington a visit. Good little gang of exiled scousers in there for most games. And it's a proper decent old pub.
[15 Apr 2016]: Was anyone on here in the Shilelagh last night? That was fucking brilliant scenes. Sweaty stranger bear-hugs aots.
[15 Apr 2016]: Yes and I thought for a moment I had managed to break my nose in the melee at the end. :D Quick tip, don't get sucked right to the back - there's a low beam in front of the TV so I spent the first half hour leaning over. Between that and what happened in the first 10 minutes I decided to change position to see if our luck would change... Missed the pizza though - looked gorgeous...   :lickin

Charges £6 to get in but they give you 2 drinks vouchers, so really they're just stopping people going in and watching games for free without buying a drink. I'll be heading down tomorrow for Middlesborough away to check it out.
[20 Sept 2008]: I'm told it has a penchant for playing the naughty games... might head there today
[2 Oct 2008]: They charge a fiver for the naughty games but you get two beers.
[6 Nov 2008]: Now it's been closed
[12 Nov 2008]: The Yucatan in Stoke Newington is now open again. I'm made up.
[26 Jan 2011]: Rating: 8/10; Landlord Liverpool Fan: No; Shows Liverpool Games: Yes; Shows 3pm Saturday Games: Yes; Prioritises Liverpool Games: Yes; Number Of Screens: 20; Atmosphere: Good, general footie.
[26 Jan 2011]: Been to the Yucatan loads of times. They usually charge in, about £7 on a weekend, but you can exchange vouchers you get after paying for a couple of drinks. Usually showing 4 or 5 different games on various sized screens and rooms and the landlord will try and find a game for you if its not too busy and its being shown on an obscure channel. Last time i was there he showed me the AV room, got some serious kit in there!
[17 Aug 2011]: Yucatan in Stoke Newington is a great place to watch LFC. Always loads of reds in there
[14 Nov 2015]: I went to the yucatan once to watch the footy. There was an old Irish fella taking 3 quid in a pint pot to get in and inside they had 7 screens showing every 3 o'clock game and it was packed full of nut cases supporting Arsenal one side of the pub, Tottenham The other end, man Utd and Liverpool in between - all goading each other. It was like the Wild West in there. Was there for ten minutes and saw two lads squaring up with pool queues and decided to get out. It's got a lovely interior though and a nice fire place so it's not all bad

Wembley, HA9

Turn left out of W Hampstead tube station and it's on the corner. It's a generic pub, but a lot of people drink there before going to Wembley. Its got a big screen and TVs.

aaronrobinson [25 Apr 2007]: After the denise of th Extra Time Bar and several failed attempts at finding a good vebue, we have settled on the Litten Tree. They are cool with flags, banner and singing and have a large screen. The old crew from the ETB will be down there including the two blokes with the big gobs (Aaron and Pete).
aaronrobinson [25 Apr 2007]: The core crowd that used to go to the Extra Time Bar in Barbican are now resident at the Litten Tree on Old St. There are at least 50 of us going down tonight. Banners, and chanting welcome.
[25 Apr 2007]: I went to the Litten Tree tonight in Old Street, London - as I was working there. It was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. It took til after the first goal to get served a pint. The bar was full of Reds but you could have heard a pin drop. It was a real embarrassment. If that was what Extra Time bar was like, I'm glad I never went. Dreadful all round.
[27 Apr 2007]: I saw last week either on here or RAOTL a few lads were gettin together in The Litten Tree in Old Street, trying to make it a new Extra TIme Bar.
[27 Apr 2007]: Ta mate, but that's an awful pub
[27 Apr 2007]: It is most definitely an awful pub. I went on Wed, and there was at least a decent pocket of supporters in the back, and we sang a bit, but it took the shitawful bartenders at least 10 minutes to serve me every time, and this happened to everyone around me. The place was far from full, they were simply without doubt the most incompetent bunch. We will be at the King's Head [Essex Road, Islington, N1] on Tues.
[27 Apr 2007]: The Litten Tree was unspeakably bad on Wednesday night. Took til after the goal to get served. Beer was awful. No atmosphere. Too many screens.
aaronrobinson [30 Apr 2007]: The Litten Tree was packed with reds. There were a handful of Chelsea and some good (one way :)) banter between them. There are also plenty of screens so you'll definitely be able to see the match, however the main screen was difficult to see because there wasn't enough low level seating and too many people standing. They hadn't got enough bar staff in but hopefully they'll learn their lesson from last time.
[30 Apr 2007]: I'm sure the lesson won't be learned. It took me >10 minutes every time to get a drink, same as everyone else around me. Absolute shithole; I'll go 1 stop further on the Tube to Angel tomorrow.
[30 Apr 2007]: YEah - the Litten Tree was shit (mainly due to the the 15-20 minute wait for a pint) - good bunch of Reds in there but I'd rather stay home that go back there. Kings Head it is then - closer to home as well  ;)
[11 May 2016]: William Blake on Old Street roundabout has become the lucky pub this European campaign. Fair few reds there too.
[12 May 2016]: The William Blake in old street would be a good shout if there are plenty of other red's going. Been in Husky's for the other games and it's a great atmosphere but bit like the Ruse for the final would need to get in so early which won't be possible with work.

Good atmosphere on match days although not dedicated to footy or LFC. You have to make your own atmosphere and they can get a bit annoyed if you sing (bizarrely) but worth a visit if you're in the area.
[10 Sept 2012]: Bar Kick near top of Shoreditch High St is pretty good for watching the match, it's not a Liverpool per se but there's usually quite a few reds. They had big TV's upstairs and for big games there is a projector set up downstairs. It's very continental in style, serves loads of world lagers (all bottles) and absolutely lovely food. It's really relaxed and particularly good for football tournaments as you get a very cosmopolitan crowd and a huge mix of nationalities and I've never seen any trouble there either. They also host a table football tournament if you like that kind of thing. Not cheap but they have happy hour 4-7 with one of the lagers at £2 (quite often Sagres) and reductions on cocktails. A bit further south on the same side of the road is Juno, they have used to have Moretti on tap but haven't been there in a while as it's not really my taste but they show the match.

eoa106 [1 Oct 2015]: As a replacement for the now closed-down RUSE bar (thanks for the great memories Tony!), the LFC London supporters club has agreed to use two nearby venues for live matches: Blue Eyed Maid and Roxy Bar. The two venues are just across the road from each other, not far off London Bridge station (and Borough station is near as well).
[1 Oct 2015]: Are all matches shown in the Roxy going to have an entry fee for non-LFC London members like the Norwich one the other week?
eoa106 [1 Oct 2015]: I genuinely don't know, but looking at Roxy's website it appears they typically charge £4 for entrance when showing live sports events. How much was charged at the Norwich match? I must say I'm really not a fan of such charges, though if going regularly you'd save money by paying £12 for the annual membership of LFC London.
[1 Oct 2015]: It was £6 in for that game. There was food included with that but I'd say most people are only really arsed about watching the game and having a couple of beers.
eoa106 [1 Oct 2015]: Agreed. Roxy has realised this as well and has decided to "force" people to buy food by charging an enctrance fee - can't say I like that approach. But then again I've paid the £12 for annual LFC London membership so won't affect me personally.
[1 Oct 2015]: Shame about the entry fee, I'd pay the membership but my non LFC supporting mates won't.
[1 Oct 2015]: Entry fee to watch a match in a pub? F***. That.
[1 Oct 2015]: Agreed. Not even the F3K does that!
[13 Oct 2015]: Doesn't seem like there's much clarity on where to go post-Ruse then? If there's two different pubs being used, non-members much less likely to come along as how are you supposed to know. And if one of them is charging entry even less chance of non-members and people's mates. Seems a shame.
[13 Oct 2015]: Wouldn't mind some clarification on this myself. Currently wondering where to go for the Spurs game and would be quite happy to take a recommendation from someone that's tried both the Maid and the Roxy. The Roxy sounds more Scouse, so leaning towards that currently :D
Tonyh [15 Oct 2015]: The Blue Eyed Maid and the Roxy are in the same ownership and across the road from each other so if one is not showing the game the other will be. Chris from LFC London has been trying to sort out the door issue and it shouldn't be a problem this weekend. Chris also spoke to the manager of the Ship to see if he wanted the LFC games and he said no.
[6 Nov 2015]: Went to the Roxy for the match last night. The staff were sound but hardly anyone there and no atmosphere at all. Need a replacement for Ruse soon as!
Tonyh [6 Nov 2015]: Me too mate!! LOL. ... going to link up on Sunday with some of my old Red friends/customers at Husky Bites Cafe, 29 Amelia Street, SE17 3PY, they tell me it is really good and they are trying hard.
Tonyh [19 Dec 2015]: ... they don't seem to be [charging for entry] now. They are showing all games in 3pms, but they do tend to piss people off from time to time. LFC London is still promoting it as its main venue but there are quite a few people going to Husky's Bites Cafe too [see SE17, Walworth below]. Cathy and a few of the other ex-Ruse guys are trying really hard with Husky's to get it going.
[14 May 2016]: I think our group are heading to the Roxy now
Tonyh [14 May 2016]: Has the beer or service got any better there, was fuckin dreadful on both counts up to 3/4 weeks ago? That's why we stopped going there, anybody been there more recently?
[14 May 2016]: Terrible mate. They seem to be always 2-3 staff short.

Tonyh [30 Apr 2014]: Went to have a quick word with The Ship guvnor last night. Fuk he is hard work, you would never know Ruse/LFC filled his pub for him on Sunday!!
[13 Oct 2015]: For games that are on Sky or BT Sport I think I might head to the Ship if I'm in town and want to watch the match. [11 Mar 2008]: I watched the Westham game in there. Was good. Met quite a few reds in there.
[12 Mar 2008]: Just came back from the White Bear. Was a few Reds there like, but a bit disappointing for a match of this importance.
[15 Mar 2008]: I was born in Liverpool and lived there for all my life 23 years till 2 weeks ago I'm now In London working ... I'll be in the white bear for the Reading game tomorrow as well - good pub for the 3pm kick offs with a few reds there
[21 Apr 2008]: For Sat 3pms Ive been going to The White Bear in Kennington they show all the 3pm matches. For the Euros tho its defo all about F3K and worth the trek there without a doubt.
[3 Oct 2008]: They've had every match so far. They have Setanta (Ireland) legit as well as a motorized dish picking up all sorts. No reason to suspect MC won't be on.
[4 Oct 2008]: Confirmed that MC game is definitely on in the White Bear. Will be shown at the back on the big screen. Chelsea v Villa also being shown at the front end of the pub.
[18 Oct 2008]: Always shows our games.
[30 Nov 2012]: my mate (a scouse red) goes to a pub in kennington. he said the manager plays YNWA before games. when we played everton he asked my mate if he was red...when he said yes he handed him a free pint. i'll have to find out the name of the pub.
[30 Nov 2012]: Could be the White Bear in Kennington? I've never heard them play YNWA before a game but have watched the odd game in there down the years. It's an old school Irish pub, and very Celtic orientated but there's always a decent crowd of reds in when we're playing and we're usually in the majority even when playing larndarn teams...
[10 Apr 2016]: I used to go to another place round the Kennington area - The White Bear (I think it was called). Not been for a while but they used to show the 3pm's.

[3 Jan 2007]: I went to school on Queens Road, Peckham... so I know the area quite well. I dont think I would go for a CL match... Game over at about 10pm, and walking about in Peckham at that time isnt a good idea...trust me!
[3 Jan 2007]: It's not as bad as it seems - as in we've never had any problems. Remember not long after moving here we played Milwall in the CC and I was the only one in colours in the Clayton and had no probs whatsoever. There are a few rentboys but genrally I remember there only being some old Milwall lags with tattooed necks but friendly enough. Maybe I never had much problem as the walk home is only 5 mins. Will never forget the CL final there, with our flags and singing! was deserted that night. only about 15 of us (mainly all Reds). Felt really exclusive.

Tonyh [6 Nov 2015]: Have been away or working for the last couple of games but going to link up on Sunday with some of my old Red friends/customers at Husky Bites Cafe, 29 Amelia Street, SE17 3PY, they tell me it is really good and they are trying hard. Definitely showing the Palace game on Sunday.
Tonyh [19 Dec 2015]: ... [Roxy Bar & Screen] don't seem to be [charging for entry] now. They are showing all games in 3pms, but they do tend to piss people off from time to time. LFC London is still promoting it as its main venue but there are quite a few people going to Husky's Bites Cafe too. Cathy and a few of the other ex-Ruse guys are trying really hard with Husky's to get it going.
Tonyh [10 Apr 2016]: Just a quick heads up, Huskys has become the definite south London favourite for ex-Ruseites and LFC London (semi officially). They have been trying really hard recently and deserve the support.
[15 Apr 2016]: Massive shoutout to anyone in Husky last night, incredible scenes. If you're unsure about where to go in London, go.
[7 May 2016]: Husky Bites sounds like it will be absolutely rammed for the final - their Twitter suggests you might have no luck if you get there after 6. Might be tricky with work etc!
Tonyh [8 May 2016]: Husky is small so no point just turning up at 7.45pm
[12 May 2016]: The William Blake in old street [EC1] would be a good shout if there are plenty of other red's going. Been in Husky's for the other games and it's a great atmosphere but bit like the Ruse for the final would need to get in so early which won't be possible with work.
Tonyh [17 May 2016]: Myself & other ex-Ruse will be at Husky's in Kennington, 5 mins walk from Elephant or Kennington station. Atmosphere there will be great but it is smaller than Roxy.

Guy behind the bar is a Red and they're a friendly bunch. Also lots of space for kids in the back garden and they don't mind them running round whilst we watch the game. Decent atmosphere in there and been to see us vs Spurs @ home, Mancs away and City @ home which we've won so have to go this Sunday too cos I'm a bit superstitious like that.
[23 Apr 2014]: We live in Addiscombe mate, my daughter used to be bessies with the former owners' daughter before they moved back to Ghana. If I don't manage to get into Selhurst Park for the Palace game would be a good place to watch it, Palace pubs nearer the ground could be a bit tense.

[26 Apr 2007]: By far and away the best LFC bar at the moment is the Balham Tup. No singing or flags, but very much an LFC pub. It's big, has got two big screens and lots of TV screens and they always show LFC. Watched the Barcelona away game there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite as busy when the game is on ITV as people seem to stay at home...
[26 Apr 2007]: The Balham Tup is a red pub. Two huge screens at either end and lots of TV's in between. Had a great night there for the Barca away leg, but it was much more quiet for PSV away (I'm guessing because the match was on ITV). I'd be keen to share my nerves and several pints of beer with fellow Liverpudlians.
[1 May 2007]: Anyone in the Kingston area, the tup is where i am going. There will be at least three of us!! Probably make loads more noise than the opposition though.
[4 May 2007]: I used to go O'Neils (it was our '05 pub followed by pizza in Al Fornos) in Wimbledon (just round the corner from where I live) but have moved this year to the Balham Tup. It's huge, though it was standing room only on Tues, and the landlord fired up YNWA and Ring of Fire after the game. If I can't get to Athens, I'll be back there for the final !!!
[4 May 2007]: I'll second that. Saw Chelsea 2nd leg there and last year's FA Cup Final. Standing room only but plenty of well positioned screens so you can always see. Lots of fellow Redmen there, good atmosphere.
[10 Aug 2007]: red pub that's not too far from Clapham. Two stops (5mins) on the train south from Clapham Junction platform 15
[16 Mar 2008]: Always full of Liverpool fans and gets better the bigger the game. Though this years lucky pub for me is O'Neils in Wimbledon.
[26 Jan 2011]: I used to live round Balham way & there was a place called The Balham Tup (think it's changed names now though) - good for live games generally, but don't think they show the non-UK based channels. And you get some tits in there although actually that's just that the Clapham/Balham/London area in general  ;D

[11 Apr 2016]: Took a girl on a second date around Wimbledon a few months back on a day the Reds were on (poor timing). She's not big into football but knew I am so after Wagamamas ( :-\ ) I suggested there as I'd had a scout and not seen any TVs, didn't want it to turn into us watching the football and her being put off. We got our drinks, sat down and a minute later the big screen dropped for the Newcastle game. She insisted we stay, I promised I hadn't planned it, we lost 2-0 and there wasn't a third meeting. [4 May 2007]: I used to go O'Neils (it was our '05 pub followed by pizza in Al Fornos) in Wimbledon (just round the corner from where I live) but have moved this year to the Balham Tup. [17 Mar 2008]: Watched the Juve, Chelsea and Milan games there in 2005 - a definite lucky pub for me. Particularly enjoyed the Chelsea game as me and my brother seemed to be outnumbered by about 100 to 2 but still made more noise! I'm fairly close to the Famous 3 Kings these days so will try and head there for future games

[13 May 2016]: To add to that, you can't actually sit directly in front of the big screen as there is a thoroughfare to the loos, meaning that you either sit very close, or to the side of it. Good food and ale there though and the projector is massive.

[27 Nov 2011]: Shows Loads of matches, including 3 pm Saturday fixtures. The owner is Irish as you might guess, and may be a Liverpool fan (he watches our games, I noticed). Food is cheap and OK, but the pub is not a stunner. It has a pool table and there is a small garden for smokers.

[2 Jan 2007]: shows all the Liverpool games through the Arab channels (all the Saturday 3 oclock games) but with English commentary. Being a Liverpool pub, all the Liverpool games given priority and are shown on the two main screens in the pub while up to five other games can also be sceeened simultanousely around the pub. Always a brilliant atmosphere around game time as about 80% of the fans are Liverpool fans. Also serves brilliant food. PS. Highly recommend the lamb kebab rolls with extra chilli (Kam special)

[3 Jan 2007]: I know this is in the heart of Chelsea but the comedy is that you'd never know if they had any fans in there or no. The landlord is a Red ... The atmosphere is usually spot on as there are always lots of games on so you can get a bit of banter with other fans and it's open till late if you want to celebrate or drown your sorrows.
[30 Apr 2007]: ... Top, top atmosphere ... last week they had shut the doors about 10 mins into the game.
[21 May 2007]: That place is shite - I went there for Newcastle at Anfield earlier this season.
[21 May 2007]: Do you get a decent view at F3K?
[21 May 2007]: Nope!
[28 Sept 2007]: It's good. ... Best get there early, as it can get very busy.
[12 Mar 2008]: ... they show all the games. (even the naughty ones). There is always a big Liverpool crowd there, singing and all sorts.
[15 Mar 2008]: ... it only seems to be great if it's really packed out and has virtually no non-footy fans in there.
[16 Mar 2008]: ... I was quite amazed by the sheer size of the place. Lots of screens around, and they were showing three PL matches plus the rugby. I think half of Wales must have been in there at some stage... Anyway, the Liverpool match got decent priority and was shown at a big screen. Met some brilliant fellow Reds that have been going there regularly for the past four years. ...
[16 Mar 2008]: I didn't go yesterday because of the Rugby. Last week for Newcastle it was full of Irish and so the Liverpool game only got the front screen, I assume the same would have been true yesterday. There are a couple of fairly hardcore reds that turn up each week, they normally get a good sing song going. I was teaching them the whole Torres song last time.
[2 Apr 2008]: F3K is still my 1st choice
[2 Apr 2008]: ... Started off shit when I went in but about 10 minutes before ko was bouncing (literally). ...
[2 Apr 2008]: Was at bar when we scored watching the widescreen above, hugged 2 or 3 randoms! ...
[3 Apr 2008]: I was in Sports Cafe [in W1] ... saw the landlord for the F3K in there ... he said he's left F3K and started at Sports Cafe on Monday.
[7 Apr 2008]: The new F3K landlord is definitely a big red, and used to show the 3pm games at his old pub.
[7 Apr 2008]: I spoke to Lee yesterday and he assures me that every Liverpool game will be shown that is available to him. (one way or another) ;)
[9 Apr 2008]: 3kings was buzzing (bouncing!) tonight for sure. Goals were fucking crazy; booze everywhere, random hugs and kisses ! Brilliant
[9 Apr 2008]: The fact that my shirt smells of beer and sweat says it all. Was great tonight. Same again next time.
[9 Apr 2008]: Was a great night in there. Bouncing, singing, hugging, beer everywhere - awesome!
[9 Apr 2008]: Such a good night absolutely bouncin - spilt about a pint every time we scored. What a night!
[15 Apr 2008]: Famous 3 Kings rocks  8)
[15 Apr 2008]: No worries watching the Chelsea game in F3K, I'm certainly going to watch it there. Saw the semi final there last season and it was packed out with reds. Maybe about 10 people in there following Chelsea.
[21 Apr 2008]: The biggest downer on 3kings is that you have to pay 3 quid to get in which is bollocks but you do get a bottle of beer with that so it works out as a little less. Still, worth it as i'd rather pay to watch in there than go elsewhere for free. ... Paying to get is a bit of a downer, on the plus side you don't have to queue at the bar for 20 minutes for yer first beer.
[21 Apr 2008]: I have been going to F3K for about 8 years now and live and die by it if I can't get to the game. It is BOUNCING all night! ... I have done the circuit in London looking for Red pubs and this is by far and away the best Red pub in the smoke. You do pay £3 to get in but this is because you would get all the pikeys in there drinking water watching the game for free. You're going to buy a beer anyway so let's not kick up a fuss. I'd pay an entrance fee for this place on a big Euro night regardless. See you there! BOUNCE!
[29 Apr 2008]: Fuck me, how overrated is the Three Famous Kings. Atmos is nowhere near as good as people make it out to be. Sort it out - there are other places to watch the football around London as well  ::)
[29 Apr 2008]: ? Do you fancy listing those "other places"? You would be hard pressed to find somewhere with as good an atmosphere as there was for the arsenal games, last week wasnt quite as good, but i dont know of anywhere better.
dareylee [29 Apr 2008]: OK I'm coming clean, when you turn up tomorrow ask for Lee, thats me, I took over the 3 Kings 5 weeks ago, I was running a pub on the King's Road in Chelsea before hand, they really enjoyed the fact I was a stout red. ...
[1 May 2008]: Atmosphere tonight was a bit flat to be honest, packed out with reds though. It's a shame that some of the better songs/chants (liverbird, every other satdee, bertie mee, those were the days etc.) dont get a good airing because not enough people know the words. ...
[1 May 2008]: ... for the landlord, who seems a decent bloke: can you cut out that chanting over the mic - it's like the Reebok's ice hockey-style rabble rousing.
[1 May 2008]: Fuck me Some people are hard to please - flat atmosphere? Thought it was cracking before the game, remember we were behind for most of it and personally I was shittin myself through most of the second half. Second - those songs hardly get sung at Anfield, outside the Kop anyway, so what do you expect from a pub in London full of cockneys and a few exiled scousers? ...
[1 May 2008]: Didnt want to come across as moaning, that deffo wasn't my intention ;D Best atmosphere I've seen in there was 2nd leg for the arsenal game, even when we were losing or when the game was flat in the 2nd half before Fernando scored. It was bouncing all game. ...
[1 Oct 2008]: F3K can fuck off as far as im concerned. went there on sat hungover as fuck and it was £3.50 a pint OF COKE!
[1 Oct 2008]: ... F3K is unrivaled for watching the game tho so will be heading down again tonight!
[6 Oct 2008]: Just got back from my trip to London and an annoying experience at the Famous Three Kings. ... crap staff, rubbish beer and a bunch of idiot supporters. Read the full post here. Conclusion? Good place as long as we're winning and you don't drink beer and are 7feet tall. otherwise try somewhere else.
[17 Oct 2008]: Agree, to a point. F3K is the liveliest option I've found, but when I was there for the Chelsea CL 2nd leg last season there seemed to be a core of fans who 'owned' the bar. They knew all the songs, liked to jump, were full of it before kick-off, and by half-time they were turning on the team and generally outing themselves as a bunch of whoppers. There were also a lot of decent fans besides, but there is a little scene in there.
[6 Oct 2008]: The beer is poor. They stopped doing the wife beater about a year ago which doesnt help. The prolem with the main screen is that there is no where near enough stools, so you end up having to stand. If your short or sitting on a stool your screwed. ...
[5 Nov 2008]: Went to F3K last night for first time and really enjoyed, it, best to stick to the bottled beer as the draught Amstel I had tasted like piss. ...
[5 Nov 2008]: ... If you like last night, you'll probably love the big games there.
[28 Nov 2008]: ... good atmosphere, disappointed that we couldnt have move any chairs around near the bar pint was good though!
[28 Jan 2009]: The F3Kings is wicked, and no I don't work there or anything like that.
[14 Mar 2009]: ... The pub is even more of a rugby pub, than it is a Liverpool pub.
[14 Mar 2009]: Aint the owner welsh?
dareylee [15 Apr 2009]: Yes I am BUT...... Liverpool through and through
dareylee [15 Apr 2009]: Tonight bought a tear to my eye. I asked for a minutes silence in respect for the 96, you could hear the tube trains outside it was that quiet, even the Barca & Bayern fans joined in. Football is not just a sport it is for all Liverpool fans a religion. ... and please if you have a quibble just talk to me. It's been a year since my move from the King's Road to F3K, I have loved every minute but most of all I have made a lot of friends of a like minded persuasion where football concerned, I am after all a rugby boy. Hope to see one or two DOZEN of you soon. Lee
dareylee [27 May 2009]: The cover also includes a drink on the door, just makes sure everyone has a drink of sorts and doesn't just walk in and stand there watching a screen and not even bothering to buy a drink.
[4 Dec 2009]: Havent particularly enjoyed F3K because of the pricks I have met there. I met a lot of embarrasing fans! Giving Lucas constant stick, telling me that there are a couple of standard fans who get the songs going so I should shut it, even though they didn't do shit and it was clear the guy had some sort of complex or another!
[1 Feb 2010]: Big game time for me means one place... Famous 3 Kings in Kensington. ... on the right occasion the place is ROCKING
[1 Feb 2010]: I have a love hate relationship with that place. Minor problem is the beer is pretty average, but i can just buy bottles so no biggie. Major problem is it gets full of absolute idiots who think it is acceptable to swear non-stop, it is almost a big swearing contest, trying to insult our own players more than the next person. Loads of part time fans too who come out with the biggest load of cobblers. In short though, if they got shot of the swearing morons I would be there more often. ...
[26 Jan 2011]: Yeah Famous 3 Kings is the best shout for watching the 3 o'clock games, plus full of reds aswell. Ruse is not bad either.
[14 Feb 2011]: ... its practically a Liverpool pub. There's a boss cafe for breakfast round the corner too.
[9 Aug 2011]: Yeah, I was in there once, it was full of morons shouting abuse at the players for the entire match.
[10 Aug 2011]: Famous 3 Kings attracts some proper bellends, let's be honest.
[10 Aug 2011]: It does sadly. Only time I went there I was accosted by some big sweaty bloke and told off for not singing along to the words of a song he was getting all the words wrong to. He then proceeded to tell me that Rafa was shit and that Hicks and Gillett got a bad press.
[17 Aug 2011]: Agreed on the Famous 3 Kings. Last time I went there was when the merchandise boycott was in place. I've never seen so many new replica shirts! Full of bell-ends!
[14 Apr 2014]: ... big screen (lots of screens), plenty of room and atmosphere was decent. Full of reds singing.
[23 Apr 2014]: It's a weird place F3K. They always have their little Italian football room on the upper floor. Was funny for the City game, you had basically a pub full of Liverpool fans going crazy and a room of Italians sitting there quietly watching Napoli play.
[24 Apr 2014]: F3K is fine. I was there for the away game against Chelsea over Christmas and surprisingly there were hardly any Chelsea fans, considering Stamford Bridge isn't far away. Just a whole lot of reds going crazy.
[28 Apr 2014]: ... certainly more reds in the F3K than plastics. Pity some of the reds who seem to be in there a lot are extremely unpleasant individuals...
[28 Apr 2014]: I've experienced that in there. Some fat fuck grabbed me and told me off for 'not facking singing'.
[14 Nov 2015]: ... I've been there a few times over the past six months or so for various matches (not necessarily Liverpool) and haven't ever been charged. I don't know if they still charge for 'big' Liverpool games but I've never had to pay an entrance fee.
