That's a world class lean right there!

Welcome to the champions of Europe, Adrian. I always liked him as a keeper and he should be a solid backup. He'll probably play in the cups and I assume we got him because he's better with his feet than Mignolet.
if I came home to allison in bed with my wife I'd ask him to phone Virgil to see if he wanted to pop round too.

It is fair to say that I am more excited about this than when Rodgers brought in a Championship back-up keeper to be Mignolet's back-up. Our goalkeeping fortunes have well and truly turned. Good luck to this lad, and hope he puts in a few belting performances in the cups.

Always thought he was a good PL level goalkeeper, was very surprised to find out he was out of contract. Great 2nd choice for us.

Even on a free a good chance of a wage saving as well as Mignolet was signed as first choice and on a first team wage.

Adrian signing as back up can't be on daft wages.

Politely, who cares? We’re not paying it.

Watching Bravo play one-twos with his defenders and charge off his line to stop a couple of our moves bought home how ill suited Migs was for us. We need someone who is more comfortable coming off the line and receiving the ball to his feet. Hopefully Adrian is the answer. Look forward to his League Cup and FA Cup appearances!

Yeah, Mignolet playing changes the dynamics at the back. Hopefully, Adrian means we can keep the same system in domestic cups.

Adrians a good goalie in my book. Pleasantly surprised by this signing. Mignolet seemed a nice guy but hes won the lottery the last 6 seasons.

Welcome Adrian. From what I've seen looks like he's got a good few acrobatic saves in him, and according to the odd West Ham fan I've seen they reckon he's a bit mad, in a good way though. We'll take that.

Shows how much I know about GKs!

When I read the headline I was just gonna type: Nice that we now have two Brazilian GKs at the club!
Will make for some good bonding and friendly rivalry between them!

Good I read further...

I thought he was brazilian too  :D  Safe to say I knew very little about him. Still, with Alberto Moreno going, and Adrian in, keeps the squad ratio and balance just fine! Adrian is meant to be a big character too.

But, now that he is here. Welcome Adrian. Hope you smash it if required.

I've always maintained Mignolet was a good player, so I have no interest in doing him down, and no basis on which to compare pure player quality. BUT I think Migs was too different in his goalkeeping style from Alisson, which meant that whenever he came into the team, it felt like it meant a complete rethink in the defence, and that generated uncertainty. I think with Adrian we'll have more consistency in our team set up on the occasions he needs to come in.

Mignolet is a good keeper however he is a Line Keeper which doesnt really fit playing a high line, so he struggles. I believe Adrian is a sweeper keeper type and a better fit for the system as a backup.

Yeah, hopefully Alisson isn't too badly injured but I think Adrian can do well in his place. Luckily we have a great defence in front of him.

Now we pray for Alisson. Though I get why Adrian was bought now.
