You need to look deeper. By my count at least 5-6 really top-class players still available. Maybe not Ronaldo Tier but in the same class as Ibrahimovic.

I do - Jari was a wonderful player - both were. Not sure I could pick both without a formation designed round the two and my exception pick was better used elsewhere. Purely based on what they did in The Netherlands, Litmanen no doubt superior.

As much as it pains me to admit Ferguson pulled off a master stroke when he got the brilliant Ediwn van der Saar from Fulham, what a fucking signing that was.

He was second string keeper at Juve to Buffon and went out on loan to Fulham and United bought him for peanuts.

One of those players that reminds me of Football Italia 

One thing I’ve always noticed but never really had any knowledge on - how many sensational footballers are native or second/third generation Surinamese. Considering the country itself has very little footballing heritage in terms of its own national side, some of the players of Surinamese descent are truly world class.

Off the top of my head, all of the following are descended from Surinamese heritage or were born there -

Clarence Seedorf, Aron Winter, Virgil Van Dijk, Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard etc

Considering the population size, to have so many brilliant players closely linked is weird but impressive.
