Really sad news this but like others have said the family can now have some peace of mind and bring Steve back home to be close to them

A tragic story. A lot of RAWKites knew Steve and his family, thoughts with all of them this evening.

As I posted in the other thread..Chris..you and the family stay strong. Glad you finally have closure.

I still wear his scarf every match I go to all these years at Anfield since he gave me his that night.

Only just caught up with all of this again, RIP fella.

News articles saying he was found at the bottom of a well close to where he disappeared. I understand it's probably a huge area to search but have the authorities said as to why a near by well wasn't looked in earlier on? At least his family have some peace now.
