That's the player version, look at the cut and the badges. Of course that looks better it's designed for fit bodies not like the fan version that has to cater for everyone.

I can't stand the checker trim. Reminds me of some sort of 'warning tape' around an accident. It's like the Nike designers just grabbed the '85-86 kit and thought lets just change the trim to checkers and people will think their creative geniuses.

I’ve never been a fan of yellow away kits despite the successful association with historical examples in the 80s and 2005.

So this example is exactly that, RUINED by superfluous and let’s be honest, fucking ugly checkered trim. I don’t know which is more shameful, that a (Noz Hyde-excepted) professional kit designer can present this to one of their newly-acquired top tier clients, or that nobody inside LFC said “errrr, lose that shit on the collar and sleeves”.

White or grey/black away kits just look better, even with “design” fuckery at play.
