West Ham not creating anything when teams don’t give them an ocean of space to attack ... shocking.

Get the feeling one bad result for them and a lot of momentum will get halted.

I have a bit more confidence with Wilson and Saint Maximin back in the team.  Newcastle to win 2-1.   :thumbup

Hilarious goal but deserved for Saint maximin who has been the best player on the pitch, even though he nearly messed up that chance.
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

Best goal ever, hysterical

Think he managed to step on the goalies hand as well, for the bonus points. Dawson gets sent off in the center circle while presenting the chance, Noble gets skinned alive on the cover and the fine backheel finish on the cruyff turn og.

But WAIT:  There's more    :lmao

as much as Davey did a largely good job with us and turned us round after a 90s full of relegation struggles and utter embarrassments, he always did fall short whenever he looked on to make a serious breakthrough (qualifying for CL, or winning a cup) so this is just following a familiar pattern

Not sure WHU have the tools to turn this round. There’s no-one on the bench who you’d look to, to turn a game.

Benrahma has flattered to deceive - hasn’t scored a League goal yet, I think. Lanzini is hit and miss, and probably works better when there is a striker. Yarmolenko can have his individual moments but is largely shite.

It’s mad how Antonio is their only striker. And they don’t have a central midfielder beyond Noble, Rice and Soucek. They are well stacked for defenders and luxury midfielders who can’t influence a game consistently.

Seems the same for a lot of clubs. Leicester are another example where they seem to crumble at the end of the season when the pressure gets a bit intense.

Getting the top 4 is quite hard for Everton, West Ham, Wolves etc  in comparison to Chelsea or Liverpool who can go on more of a longer winning run usually. It's also about squad depth. Take DCL away from Everton or Lingaard away from West Ham no chance of 4th. Even Leicester struggle massively without Maddison.

I agree, they will lose to Chelsea at home next weekend and that will be it for them. I just hope they get a shocking win but not confident.

Didn't expect Newcastle to get more than a draw, so to have the game in the bag by half time is a nice start to this round of fixtures.

West Ham's next league match is Chelsea, which should be interesting. West Ham won't be getting a Champions League spot but they'll be up for that game.
