i want to know what strand is playing at.  if he doesn't have a sinister plan for his 'captives' - if he's really putting up with all their shit just because he's a nice guy - then i despair.  well, not really, as it is FTWD...  but i would have thrown most of them to the sharks long ago for being so surly.

Strand is the only reason to watch this show really, isn't he? The rest of them are so annoying. There's potential in the two young lads but every time you start to think "Oh, here we go, they're doing something right" they go and write them into yet another idiotic moment. Things need to improve quickly.

Best episode yet for me (S2xE04) - had pacing, story, acting - all decent. No obviously stupid decisions by the kids - and some welcome backstory for Strand.

Go fuck yourself, lad.

Seems to be a wasted character - and poorly written for - in that he seemingly exists to be:-

a. a family member of main protagonists that few in the group would miss if he disappeared.
b. someone who makes shit decisions which further endangers people needlessly.

Doesn't help he hasn't been given much to show he can act - and others in the show - including guest-of-the-week characters are way more interesting than him.

Decent episode though - intriguing promo for next week's ep6 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-i78Luq90Q

Saw your post and remembered that this returned.

Just downloaded the 8th episode and had a quick view of the "previously" part and realized that I don't remember a single scene.  :o  Will need to rewatch some of the previous episodes.

I can't see myself lasting the whole season of this. Alicia Debnam Carrey is the main reason I keep watching.

Spoiler
How does your urine taste, bro? That scene and the one with the dog...yikes, just yikes. Survival, I get it but still. Funny how it was a survival situation for the aforementioned two scenes but wasn't when he consciously gave away that water container, which was his life, cause a woman attacked him with a baseball bat. Scenes.

Christ this series has been a mess

Multiple episodes where you get nothing happening, crappy clichéd dialogue and ponderous staring then other episodes (like the last 2 of the series) then massively rushed exposition, formerly insurmountable situations and scary foes quickly overcame and vanquished

There have been some pretty good action moments and plot points but the pacing is just massively off.

Take out the filler and you have about 5/6 decent-good episodes - though probably needed the filler to gloss over some of the kids' dumb decisions early on (followed by the adults' dumbness later on ;))

The worse thing is - I'll probably be back for season 3 too  :-[ :butt

We definitely need someone to get an infection from doing it. It should only be used in dire situations like when Rick and co do it, where risking getting sick is worth it.
