Galileo Dance in the bumper in Naas tomorrow might be one to look out for towards the Champion Bumper. Can't find any prices at the moment though.

The Cleeve Hurdle looks a cracking renewal tomorrow. Picked out If the Cap Fits as the one I wanted to try and take on Paisley Park with this season, but very tempted by Summerville Boy at the price.

Interested to see Santini again, thought he might go to the top this season but was disappointing first time up, been a while since that run though so hopefully a better show tomorrow.

Lavelle must be praying Mullins sends Benie Des Dieux to the mares. I don’t see Paisley Park beating her at all to be honest. Mullins knows what he has with her, an absolute monster.

Unbelievable animal Gerry. Pity we only see her 2 or 3 times a year. If he didn't have two leading fancies for the Gold Cup I'd love to see her in that  ;D

Good luck with any bets on the  GG'S today, none today with my Long Term Profit bets were I have just hit a touch over double figures pts profit.
It is a very slow process and not for everyone but I have the patience of Jürgen Norbert Klopp and now Betway will allow me only £4.28 on any single horse bet in the future.
I am only a small punter with £20 bets but make a profit long term with single bets and now Boylsports, Skybet, Betfair sportsbook, Ladbrokes, Coral, BetVictor and now Betway have now restricted me to bets under a fiver. It is a badge of honour in ways but I prefer bookies compared to Betfair who don't provide BOG.

Good luck all if you can get a bet on today..

The Dublin Racing Festival really has become a great weekends racing. Some top class fields over the two days. The 2m Dublin Chase in particular looks like a great race, hoping Cilaos Emery can cause a bit of an upset. Also quite like Latest Exhibition of Paul Nolan’s who beat Andy Dufresne last time.

Also noticed that Andy Dufresne is skipping Cheltenham for other targets at Fairyhouse/Punchestown

Yep looks a good one that. Probably be better over fences too.

Shame about Cilaos Emery falling at the first didn’t get the chance to see where he stood against the other big guns.

Honeysuckle did a good performance but would have to jump loads better to win a Champion Hurdle. Absolutely ballooned the last and nearly lost the race because of it. Rachael Blackmore was at the top of her game in the saddle. She's a good pilot and no mistake. Thought performance of the day had to be Appreciate It in the bumper. That jogged round against some well regarded types. Haven't seen anything as good in a NH flat race this season.

Away from the jumps, Bangkok made a mockery of them at Lingfield. Looks to be the Winter Derby winner to me.

Not seen the Faugheen race but Easy Game seems decent and Faugheen’s beaten Samcro so he probably sets the standard in that race at Cheltenham. Be great to see him do it. Fences given him a new lease of life.

Great finish in the Irish Gold Cup there Delta Work toughing it out from Kemboy with Percy back to something like his best.

Edit: Jack Kennedy broke his leg in the race after winning the Irish Gold Cup, gotta be unlikely for Cheltenham in 5 weeks

Thanks FG
I place most of my bets the night before and take the best price and BOG but a lot of bookies have now stopped BOG for everyone the night before. Online they don't like people who beat the odds and they think everyone are then backing them to lose on Betfair.
My Boylesports account was a losing one by £30 and they even closed that. I backed HOMER the night before at 5/2 who won yesterday and I am now up to 17pts in profit, it is a very slow process of making money but it works for me.

DREAM MAGIC is my only bet today in the 8-30, won easily off 65 and now still in form 2lbs higher with top jockey booked who has a great record on him. More at home in class 6 company but this is still only a 0-70 and he won by nearly 5L in his last handicap in Dec.

Unlucky mate. Pencilfulloflead is my only fancy of the whole weekend tomorrow. 10l behind Asterion Forlonge last time out and his jumping can only improve. 11/8 now was as big as 7/4 earlier.

So, the National ratings came out yesterday and to be honest, for the first time ever I think I have to agree with the O'Learys. Tiger Roll, a mighty fine horse in anyone's book but never won anything above a Grade 3 handicap in open company is officially rated 170 and got to GIVE 4lb to Native River, a Gold Cup winner, a horse that can still win Grade 2s and will be a live outsider in this year's Gold Cup. They should be running off level weights at the absolute worst.

Good to see he was okay, but how he's the highest rated chaser in Britain and Ireland is so far over my head. He was well beat there behind a horse entered in the Grand National running over 2m 5 making it's first appearance on a racecourse for well over a year.

Shame to see what happened with Kachy. Best sprinter on the all-weather for many years.

Red faces everywhere as Ballyadam is beat at 1/4 in the bumper at Naas. Was as short as 6/1 before seeing a racecourse for the Champion Bumper  ;D Thankfully I didn't get involved.

The run up to Cheltenham is the worst few weeks for it, as they push them to their peak. There’ll be more drop before March 10th

Undoubtedly but I wonder if Tizzard just buys exceptionally injury prone animals or they do too much away from the track.

Probably just a coincidence, he has more high profile horses than he used to, so perhaps it stands out more, can’t say I’d noticed his are more injury prone.
Mullins already ruled out Douvan, Saldier & Klassical Dream last week.

While it’s always dangerous to believe everything Mullins says in terms of targets, there’s quite a bit in here that seems set in respect of the way his horses are heading. Benie sounds like the banker (if she can negotiate that last hurdle), and they seem keen on the bumper horse too

I'll be taking his bumper horse on with one for Elliott, called Farouk D'Alene. Jamie Codd said this after he won on Boxing Day.

: "He won a point-to-point last year at Belclare for Donnchadh Doyle and his work has been incredible at home. We expected him to win and he's done that, he's another monster for the Gigginstown machine. They buy some beautiful young horses."

Starting to shorten now because I don't think people expected him to go to Cheltenham. 14s but I think he'll go off much shorter. Elliott usually starts his nice types off at Down Royal as well.

Is he definitely going? Gigginstown not known for running their good horses in the bumper. The ones Elliott and Codd have won with have been for other owners?

I'm not certain but if you chance him NRNB you've not lost anything if they don't send him. I have read on Twitter that they are thinking of running him and if he's declared that price instantly halves at best. If Codd speaks about one like that you take notice. If he doesn't run and they save him for another day I'll go to war then ;D

Yep. I remember the first year Cause or Causes won (think it’s might have been the 4 miler), they interviewed Jamie Codd in the parade ring before racing and while he didn’t say it would win he sounded very confident, got some good early prices before it got well backed in and dotted up. Doesn’t always work and jockeys aren’t very good tipsters usually but that was one of the better days at the festival.

A man after my own heart Gerry in exciting Gordon Elliot bumper horses  ;D Appreciate it won the same race as Envoi Allen did last year by about 7-8 more lengths carrying only 2 less pounds. 3rd was 15 lengths behind also carrying the same weight. Feel like he's an Irish banker once the ground isn't bottomless. By a serious bumper horse sire too.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Jamie Codd isn't any old jockey, always look out for him in any race. Tip for Cheltenham as well, look out for Patrick riding Ricci horses, no matter the price they'll outperform it.
