Reminds me of a guy I worked with, same argument with his missus over the heating. Came to a head one night when she said the heating was staying on cos she paid for the gas and he said fine,as he pays for the electric he went round and took all the light bulbs out of the lights

the solution - you are always too hot with the heating on so wear less

no socks just flip flops, lower half shorts or just your bills, top half vest top or loose short-sleeved t-shirt or even no top at all

Diverticular.

Diagnosed with these years ago (pockets in the bowel) and having been settled for years, suddenly got a flare up and got gut ache. Started when I was driving the truck a couple of weeks ago and by the end of the shift my guts were killing me. Been trying to get the fat off my belly, reduced my carbs and I've stirred my insides up - GP says I need to eat a lot more fibre, so its back on the bread, beans and stuff like that.

Been a while but....

Landlords who think an apartment they used to let on AirBnB is suddenly worth double similar apartments in the same building are going for because they have spent £50 extra on a slightly nicer sofa and had some decent staged pics taken.

Seen loads, often listed directly by the landlord via OpenRent, which have clearly been used as short holiday lets in the past hit the long term let market over the last 6 or so months, and the premium they think they can get is fucking stupid. Greedy bastards will be shocked when it's still left on the market come March.

Gf is the same. I can work from home with one light on at most - the room I’m in. She comes home and within 2 minutes there are 9 lights on.

Finally getting a call from said fitters giving me a load of bullcrap about doing the school run then getting together to decide the order of their jobs so it'll be early afternoon.

Around 6% of people work 9-5.
