Connecting a USB modem for PS2 online

(1/3) > >>

buzzing:
How is this done.
Just got the ps2 adapter and i think i need more parts. If anyone else has connected their ps2 via USB modem, how have they done so.
If i do need more parts, what do i need and how much does it cost and is it easy to set up.

bryanod:
also very interested in setting up online ps2, got broadband and my new 15quid pro evo on the way :lickin

buzzing:
haha exaclty why i want to know too :D ;D

7Dalglish:
I did it by buying the ethernet adapter that connects to the back of the ps2, then bought the wireless game adapter to connect to my home wireless network. Run an ethernet cable from the ethernet adapter to the wireless game adapter and online footy is perfected.

I don't think connecting via USB is a good idea, USB will not have the same bandwidth as ethernet.

If you want part numbers, brands of my set up let me know. Works a treat and the modem doesn't need to be near the ps2...

buzzing:
My modem is a USB one so im stuck with it.

i've been looking around the net and it seems i need this sort of set up

PC--USB modem--router--ps2 adapter--ps2
