While we all want Parry to piss off, the fact that Hicks is moronic enough to want this to happen at such a crucial point in the season despite the disruptions it will cause says it all really.

I don't think it's about winning fans it's about numbers in the boardroom.

Fuck off Hicks, so this whole mess can be over with.

Cant believe all the sympathy for parry he is the shitbag who sucked up to BOTH americans and brought them to the club .
Then he should be given the chance to redeem himself because at the moment the alternatives are far, far worse.
The infallible wank stain
Lolzies. More chance of a wank off the pope than beating United, I'm afraid. It is beyond Benitez, apart from when they were at their lowest ebb, when we knocked them out of the FA Cup. They certainly aren't anywhere near there now.

what is the logic in this?  what sense does it make to wash our dirty linen in public just after one of our finest european nights?

hicks is pissed off; he feel's he's being picked on; mummy doesn't love him; its not fair... whatever.  why do this now?

if you have ANY love for the club how does this help move things forward?

this is a rich man who is literally throwing his toys out of the pram and NOT the liverpool way.

Parry has no sway in the boardroom, THAT's the exact problem Sal.
He is in a position where he should be advising and making decisions to make Rafa's and the owner's lives easier.
As for who will replace him?  No idea and don't rightly care.  By getting rid of Parry and worrying about who will come in it is tantamount to stopping going to see Dr Shipman and worrying about how bad your next doctor will be.  Ultimately, it doesn't fucking matter, it can't be any worse.

He has a vote & it's that Vote Hicks is trying to get control of

Connected to the DIC news earlier in the day.

Hicks needs DIC to buy him out to give him his fat, juicy profit.

DIC won't takeover with Parry at the club, so Hicks tries to put the pressure on Parry with a "Parry should resign" press-release.

Sorry but if Hicks gets rid of Parry he gains control of the boardroomSee above
Thank fuck some of you can see what's realy going on

Thank you Sally for saving me from having to spell it out. God, some people on here are so thick.

Can't believe I'm backing Parry, but this is absolutely vital to stop Hicks.

With  a boardroom vote, Hicks will be defeated 3-2 (Parry can't vote). Maybe, just maybe, this will force Hicks hand to sell.

PARRY MUST STAY.

God what a public joke we are becoming in terms of the board room. Its all been said I am sure but Hicks does not give a feck about the team at this stage. At least Gillete had the balls to come to our home game. Its all a matter of a very public pissing game at this stage...talk about feckin childish. If Parry stays then the egg is all over Hicks.

Liverpool season of boardroom turmoil continues: Sky Sports news.

Its now open warface at Anfield

Hicks Demanded his resignation for reasons as:

1) commercial performance
2) Revenue compared with United
3) Letter believed to cite differences between Parry and Benitez????

Parry must and will stay, at least until Hicks is out. I think the majority of fans can see why thats the case i.e. to oppose Hick's decisions in the board room. The more anti-hicks people we have at the club the less likely Hicks is to load more debt on the club and the more likely DIC return to buy

Hicks has asked Parry to resign in a letter; Hicks blamed Rafa, saying Rafa didn't want Parry; Parry has since declined
You see, this is what I don't understand. I know Rafa and Parry don't get on, but why would Rafa want him out now? If there's one man I can trust to stay focused on matters on the pitch, especially at this stage of the season, it's Rafa.

All very embarrassing anyway, especially after the fantastic match on Tuesday.

phew....thank god.

if parry goes, its almost game over and hicks has total control. the lad isnt the greatest exec, but he is english and seen as the only voice of the fans at the moment.

anyway, if parry sides with gillete (who is willing to leave) im all for it. wind hicks up more mate! you've probably always got a jobs if gillette has anything to do with it!

this really is a soap opera!

If that was true then Hicks would have allowed DIC to purchase Gillete's half and then they would have had no issues removing Parry.

There are usually games within games whenever things like this get aired.

We all know Parry has had stick for ages - on here as well - about his running of the club generally, merchandising, ticket distribution ( Hicks' little joke initially not offering Parry tickets for the first leg at Arsenal was a warning..) the long, long protracted sale of the club, the stadium build..

Hicks to me is trying to send a clear message to the support and Gillett and DIC that he's got no intention of leaving.

It seems also that he is siding clearly with Rafa.

That begs the question to me. Has Parry always been on the side of Gillett and was he aware of the Klinsmann situation?

The club seems clearly polarised now.

Hicks / Rafa on one side - Gillett / Parry on the other.

( and Moores sat in the middle counting his money )

Really? On what grounds? I know this is old ground, but I think Gillet is a weasel that has done nothing for LFC. At least Hicks has the ambition to want a good quality stadium and commercial operation. All Gillet has done is ring Jeurgan Klinsmann.

I'm not fooled by Hicks and don't believe a word he said, however it wouldn't surprise me if Rafa did want Parry out, it's been noted that we missed out on players like Evra, Ronaldo, Vidic and others, because of incompetency in his job from Parry.

Still not going to back Hicks purely for his unprofessional conduct yet again. But 1 of the reasons cited is at least somewhat plausible.

Parry needs to go, but not until Hicks has gone. I agree that we need as many anti-Hicks people on the board as possble.

Hicks is such a c*nt, he has no idea how to go about things. He really can fuck us up!
