I am not someone who has favourite players but Firmino has definitely changed my mind on that concept. He is my favourite player and thats because of his joy in getting drunk and partying, a passion I share.

Also helps that he is good at football.

I hope you don't share his passion for outrageous attire when partying, some of the stuff he wore in Brazil in the Off Season was definitely outrageous. :D

That pass for Mane's chance was ridiculous, such a pity the United game came after the International Break, he was so sharper last night.

He's got the touch of the Ronaldinho about him. His touches, his vision, the actual ability to pull the outrageous off.

Ronaldinho was on another level, but I'm talking about the creativity and ingenuity.

If he maintains this season's ridiculous form for a few years and combining it with his hard working tendency and he may even hit Ronaldinho's level in terms of importance to the team. He's that good.

How could anyone not love the crazy lifestyle he's got now as well, he knows what it's like to have nothing and he appreciates what he's got now.

Reading that Guardian piece on Bobby it's clear that he is a quiet and sensitive guy. Given this I noticed near the end of the game on Sunday Hendo was really bollocking him for losing the ball on the halfway line. Interestingly Bobby didn't return to the pitch at the end of the game (I couldn't spot him anyway). I know he's a grown man so he shouldn't be too bothered but I wonder if it affected him?

Don't think it was noticed at the time, but his pass to Salah on Sunday when Salah had the effort from outside the box was very similar to this. The guy is pure class.

Yep - and the fantastic thing about it is that it's not showboating for the sake of it, both are done to delay the pass that fraction of a second that allows Mo to get into the optimal space for receiving. Another example that springs to mind is the dragback flick one two he pulled off away at Southampton in the 17/18 season. Had to be a lifted flick to avoid the centrehalf and was pulled off to perfection.

That's the amazing thing about him, we see him do this stuff routinely yet he barely ever tries anything flashy that doesn't come off. He chooses his moments very well, and most of the time sees that the best thing for the team is to keep it simple.

Is he a Liverpool front-line great? If not, what more will he have to do to become one?

For me unquestionably. Creativity, composure, finishing, the doggedness of Suarez without the nastiness. His 'lack' of goals being at the expense of the other work he does around the pitch linking play and tracking down is a trade-off I'd take any day.
