to be honest I don't see much difference between the Bloodzeed stream of the WBA v Chelsea game and the footyreport one.

that's why i shared it mate, cause the only difference is about 50 sterling a year you can spend on something else, which may not be a lot for you, but significant money for students. Also, the more users start using ace stream, i'm sure the more new feeds there will be pretty soon and with better quality.

True ... but I find the monthly fee worth it for (a) the games that Bloodzeed doesn't show (admittedly we've been on Sky/BT a lot this season but that won't always be the case) and (b) being able to watch other 3pm kick offs as well.

And, in my case, the footyreport has 2 BIG advantages... (1) having an XBMC plugin which means I can watch on my Pi connected to my 32" TV in the lounge and (2) footyreports shows all the 3pm kickoffs in the same HD quality
The bloodzeed streams that arent BT/SkySports are not as good quality as his usual ones which are.

XBMC need an acestream plug-in - And they need to make an app for Windows Surface!

There's a thread in the main forum which covers free streams, this thread is specifically for paid for services.

I'm also a student and we all chip in here at £3.50 a month, which is fuck all between us obviously.

For that price, not only do you get all the games in HD. But also 24/7 access to:
Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and News.
BT Sport 1 and 2.
Setanta Ireland.

There's also a large number of ways to watch:
Website Browser
PS3 or Xbox360
Android App
iPad/iPhone App
Any device with XBMC (Raspberry Pi etc.)

Free streams are fantastic and I've used them since Sopcast, but it's a hard sell  :lickin

My activation email finally arrived today. Signed up for a couple of months and I'm impressed so far. Installed the live streaming app on my iphone and ipad and installed the addon on xbmc on my Apple TV. Airplay works just as well though.

Surprised by the quality of streams on btsport and I'm watching box nation now which is also excellent.

Well pleased!

i use this on my laptop in my house and hook it up to the tv, works great so my dad signed up from his house and its always buffering from his laptop and he never seems to have a solid connection, we thought it was probably his internet connection but he's since upgraded to fibre optic and is getting the same download speed as me- around 35mbs and its not any better,

what other causes could there be for this? his laptop is 4 yrs old so does he maybe need to upgrade this?

Probably a shit WiFi connection mate, is he close enough to the router to go wired? You can get a 30 meter Ethernet cable for like a fiver on ebay.

Is it definitely lagging because of a connection problem? For example, it always says 'connecting' or 'buffering'? It could be his laptop struggling to play flash videos so it's stuttering a lot. In which case you could switch it down to 'SD' or try it through XBMC rather than a browser,

thanks for the reply,

he's tried switching to SD but it hasnt made any real difference, im gonna take my laptop up to his house and see if it works ok and then that would hopefully tell us if its a laptop problem or not and i should have an ethernet cable lying about to try that as well,

cheers

Mate if mine found that it buffered on an old laptop also.

Didn't establish if it was the wifi card or perhaps the display driver but it worked spot on, on his phone and tablet.

Subscription expired yesterday on this and their payment option's being fixed, but not in time for the game.

Any other sites people know of? As close to HD as possible but with no lags at all.

Plus1HD is pretty good....95% of the time the streams are constant and in HD. They can be hopeless sometimes though, forget to put games on for instance or switch channels 5 mins from the end of a game...they seem to be getting better though. Plus next season they have said they are doing something to enable streaming through Android devices ...so that's a plus point

Plus1HD is the best football streaming out there..

It's not, unless they've drastically improved over the last year or so.

Footy-Report is half the price, same HD quality streams. Plus1HD uses Canadian channels, with Footy-Report you get Sky, BT Sports, Setanta etc. So that could be a preference thing.

In addition to their site you can also get:

PS3/PS4/XboxOne Compatibility
Android application with HD support
iPhone/iPad applications with HD support
XBMC Media Centre Plugin

So I can set up a RaspberryPi with XBMC, plug it into my television and have a full on footy streaming box for about £40-50

EDIT -

That's not to say don't use Plud1HD, I've used them both quite a lot over the last 2 years but I've leant towards Footy-Report (aka Bitscores/LiveOnlineFooty) recently. Both have occasional problems but the service you get overall can't be grumbled at.
