Its my birthday again haha!! same weekend, usual plan...... im with VDM & praying for the sun all weekend, cant grumble at the weather but usually its one day blistering one day cold or pissing down, which doesnt however stop me enjoying it to the max.

For me its the best weekend of the year liverpool has to offer, due to its vibe and location, the feeling of freedom and being pretty much able to do whatever the fuck you want ;) which suits me just fine... am really looking forward to marcia griffiths on the sunday this year that will be a brilliant gig....

You got a birthday freebie last year if I remember right. Could be mistaken as the longer the day went on the more of me rum stash I gridded.

Hippy capitalism at it's best.

You going to Glasto this year, or is that a silly question?

Nah mate - it is free again.  Managed to get some extra sponsorship and some funding from the council and the threat of the fences has gone.  Just gotta pray for the sun to come out now

Weather was just about perfect, good crowd, great day.

Went along for a few hours after work, yesterday evening - really enjoyable couple of hours.  Lovely sunshine and a good atmosphere aside from a few pockets of unavoidables that will turn up wherever there's the possibility of causing a bit of trouble.

What were they up to?

Just spotted a few groups of early-mid teens arsing about in groups - scrapping, legging it full speed through groups of people sat down, kicking balls into the crowd, dropping bikes carelessly by groups sat down.

Nothing nasty, just disregard for others and making people feel a bit uncomfortable - saw quite a few people moving because of it.

Mate goes to this every year . May give it a go this year if the weather's half decent - the forecast is looking a bit iffy though.

Will be selling me rum chai again.   Keep a lookout for someone with a tea urn who looks as though he has drank half his rum stash.

1.50 chai and 2.50 rum chai.

To qualify for the RAWK discount you have to repeat Hare Krsna a 108 times.

How's that?       :wave
