to be honest I had called for Tsimikas to get some starts as Robbo hasn't been at it, but I thought he was terrific today. Pretty much kept Antony out of the game and had a generally commanding performance.

Robbo was great in the derby as well. He does rise to the occasion in these games. Tsimikas should play more though to keep.him fresh and on his toes. Not just the odd game when Robbo is completely fucked

Not sure where I read it about Bob last week, Wrap maybe - 'A serial turner-upper in the big games'. Exact same applies to Robbo. Understands the crowd, gets what is needed to get to that pitch of intensity in the big ones. He had the acne teenage dirtbag fella out wide for them wound up something fierce yesterday, was fantastic to watch.

As much as I love the lad, I have to echo the thoughts in here about his finishing. Tragically bad. I'm about 10kg overweight and haven't kicked a ball in years and would fancy my chances of putting the ball in the net more than Robbo. 

Still, as long as he does what he is meant to, there can be no real complaints.

Probably our most underrated player. Trent gets way more attention, being English and having more flair, but I think Robertson is the better player all things and all games considered. Better defender, and his lows are higher than Trents. Very reliable.
Theyre both fantastic players, but I think Robertson gets far less credit.

The way Shaw jogged back on gakpos second goal was criminal. Never in with a chance of covering Mo, but he spotted Gakpo 40 yards and somehow lost him too.

That decision has to be made after each game though. I'd start with Kostas against Bournemouth to keep Robbo fresh for Real. It's not a zero chance of progression, you know...

He was great but he'll never have an easier game . Playing against a very ordinary fullback and one of the biggest spoofers in the league. Antony isn't premier league level. Zero workmate off the ball and very little attacking threat. A nothing footballer.
He's the absolute opposite of Robertson.

I think he's still severely underrated by a lot of people. What is it, record number of assists by a defender? It's probably because he's just so efficient at it, that he usually doesn't catch the eye. I think when he leaves us, he'll be a lot more appreciated.

Fairly certain Shaw went to the 2014 World Cup! He was a bit of a man child, think he was playing in the PL for Southampton at 17.

What is this, a competition for who's the least shit? Robbo had a bad game today and it's certainly not the first time this season. Him, VVD and Trent were garbage today. I've said in VVD's thread it was arguably his worst individual performance in a reds shirt.

Ok cool - in that case lets hop over to Allison's thread. I think you should mention Alli's shortcomings and that he is having a bad season given the huge reduction in clean sheets and how many more goals he's conceded.

Allison's obviously on the decline, and anyone who thinks the context of a teams performance matters when discussing football is being tedious
