not even sure salah at this point might be best to sell him now and help buy someone else, not even sure of jota atm if being honest.
this is not a reaction to this match its the entire season tbf
Huh? Recommending us to sell Salah? Thought he did contribute yesterday?

With the full of respect, I think you could talk more about the midfield compared to pinpointing it to Mo.

Bloody hell, sell Mo.

Pretty brutal second half and took his penalty with the composure of someone who had just been picked out of the Kop to take it.

His build up play is pretty lacking these days, and all of his best moments come from in and around the box like his movement for the goal. He needs to get away from the touchline.

That through ball to Nunez was pretty good. The whole team is struggling.

Good performance. Poor pen.

His pen shows his lack of confidence because he had time to (over)think.

He has become too predictable, can’t get pass  any player at all. Please get someone else on penalties, not hitting the target for his last 2 penalties cannot be excused.

He has become too predictable with his penalties, should consider varying it up to have a few within the frame of the goal.

Needs to seriously train his right foot. Doesn't seem to have the confidence to play simple passes or shots with his right and can be so frustrating at times.
Also, Klopp needs to take him off penalties.
Good goal and great through ball for Nunez.
Gabriel was fouling him all game and could have had about two penalties but no surprise they weren't given.

Missed 3 of his last 6. I think his record before these last 6 was good but given we barely ever win a penalty it’s actually been quite a long wrong of a lacklustre record now.

I don't know if the change of personnel or the overall team performance reflects on him, if his positional shift toward the corner flag has been detrimental, but he's not been himself since he signed the new contract. And his penalties are criminal. What other penalty taker in the PL misses 50%? And neither of those were saves, he didn't even hit the goal with either of the three missed - two to the left and one over the bar. Does he not train penalties?

Always worth reminding folk that he’s still our best attacker. What he’s not is the best player in the world anymore. And for a few months - when this thread title was done, he was.

Ignore. That's just stupid. Salah's new 3-year contract extension is equivalent to signing a 50m player on 150k/week (or something to that extent, I posted the math earlier in this thread). Now think of a player with such characteristics to replace Salah, and think about what impact would that have on our game.

I've criticized Salah just above for playing below his own standards, which I deem fair, but that bar is too high for other players.

24 goals & 11 assists in worst Liverpool side in a while.

Salah is far from being a problem to focus on. I’d take him off pens though.

You are right, but that doesn't contradict the post you quoted. Salah has become more predictable.

Bit mad to think that if he scored the three mised penalties he'd likely finish with 30+ goals in THAT season...

What does the article say for those of us that don’t speak foreign?

I heard that PSG want him, as the south americans (neymar, messi etc) dont like Mbappe, and psg are looking to off load him, they are open to liverpools approach if they can buy salah, if true what do we think? would be Salah and cash for Mbappe though.

Rightly so tbf, I got the feeling that people were not doing what he asked 1st half, and a fe playing thier own game, however second half was alot better, but i can agree if i was a manager that 1st half even if we had won i'd be pissed too.

If Salah not the PK taker it should be Fabinho.
I think Data wise Fabinho the best taker. Granted Salah been very good at them, before the last 2 his only misses where saves.

Why has he changed what was working, he used to do his run up and go straight down the middle with enough power that even if the keeper stays central its still hard to save

Seems to be overthinking it

No love for Mo? ;D

He's absolutely brilliant, pushing Stevie in my list of fav Liverpool players ever. His consistency is amazing - 26 goals already this season, should easily cross the 30 mark for us.

That 150m bid for him in the summer may come in, as some here are hoping for ;)

Wonder if we’d got a pen with Mo on 2 goals if he’d have taken it. He’d have definitely wanted the hatrick.

He’s scored more goals for us than Kenny, and it’s only a matter of time until he passes Fowler & Gerrard in that regard.

Already an All time Liverpool legend, but one who’s still got plenty left to give
