No. They're not a good football team this season at all. They've been absolutely belted by some ordinary teams.

I would predict the same thing with Man Utd nailed on to get Shakhtar in the quarter finals.

I'd love to see the Juventus players throw themselves over at any given opportunity tonight and frustrate Tottenham with some turgid defensive football. Can't make my mind up if I want them to smash Spurs or not as an early exit from the competition will probably benefit them in the league.

Should probably want Spurs to go through so it tires them out in the league but can’t bring myself to do it. Juventus to humiliate them please.
Loving Everton's business this summer. Here's an early call - they finish above Liverpool this season.

How have Juve been playing this season? I don't follow what is going on in Serie a, and I don't think I saw any of their group games, but obviously I realise they finished 2nd in their group to Barcelona.

It'd just be like Spurs to get Real Madrid and Juventus in a season when both are underperforming  ;D

They haven't conceded this year. Last lost in mid November and have only drawn 2 games in that time (Barca and Inter).

Something tells me Spurs aren't the form team coming into this game.

Can see Kane having something to say about that, for all his flopping antics against you lot, he's become a top class player.  Always hurts to know he was released from the Arsenal academy for being fat and has gone on to be one of the best in the league.

They started the season very poorly - the defence took quite a few games to get used to life without Bonucci, and adapting to 4 at the back (in a new 4-2-3-1 system). However, they have since hit their stride, winning Fowler-knows how many consecutive games. They've got to grips with the new back 4 and only conceded 1 goal in the league since getting beaten 3-2 by Sampdoria on 19th November. (That includes games against Barcelona and away at Napoli).

My opinion, though, is that they don't like it up 'em, and if the Spuds can get a decent full-court press going they can ruffle them. A lot of their success in Serie is that teams are already beaten before they walk on the pitch and just sit like lemons waiting to concede.

Juve are fucking boring to watch. For me, they're one of those teams who I can't work out why they are so successful (the equivalent of Mourinhos Utd). Higuain is a fat c*nt. Dybala a very crafty diving shithouse. Pjanic is class, but the rest of the midfield is very workmanlike. Mandzukic is proving very effective played out of position on the left. Cuardrado continues to be one of their better players, despite not showing for Chelsea (although, as we have all seen first hand, that could just be Chelsea). I think he's decent, but a full-back with a bit of pace shouldn't have too much difficulty with him (not that Ben Davies has pace mind). Should be an interesting game.

I'm not saying he won't score but Juventus haven't been playing cannon fodder for the entirety of that run. Napoli and their high powered attack got absolutely shut down, Icardi and Suarez got no change out of them before Christmas too. Juventus have all kinds of threat on the break too, so it'll be interesting to see how Tottenham go about scoring without overcommiting.

Spurs need the whole team to click at top form tonight. If they get a decent result, then their 2 weeks of results would look great. Win against United, Win against Arsenal, draw to us and through in the cup and whatever tonight brings. Must be taking it out of the players though with these massive games all succeeding each other.

True, but teams like Barca tend to play right into Juve's hands. Depending on who they go with Juve may have very little pace at the back, and are happy to defend their own 12-yard line against the likes of Barca and Napoli. Barca absolutely dominated them. Will be interesting to see if they sit back against Spurs. If they try to play high up the pitch, think spurs could get some joy.

Icardi is massively over-rated IMO.

Juve to win it 1 or 2-0, and completely shut Kane out. They'll out-dive them as well.

Good set of players, positive, well organised teams, going to be a good watch, whether they open up to play a bit or stay within their respective shapes more. Lots to see either way.

It's hard to cheer for Juve except against the likes of chelsea, Utd, Madrid, Barca. Hope Spurs bloody their aristocratic aquiline noses tonight ;D
