I've heard huddersfield is Friday night and Chelsea is 205pm Sunday
Heard the same as well, hopefully we'll find out for definite later on today. Although if true, the Chelsea game could still move if we get through to the quarters and get drawn to play on the Tuesday, also Chelsea could be playing in Europe the previous Thursday so if they both happen, no doubt the fixture will be postponed and re scheduled for a different midweek.

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

If both us and Chelsea get through in Europe you would hope someone would have the sense to speak to UEFA and request our second leg quarter final to be played on the Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

Yeah I imagine that would happen.

Which apparently would make Southampton away 7.45 Saturday. 4pm Sunday if we aren’t playing Tuesday.

Chelsea could play the Wednesday and not the Thursday, Sevilla played their Europa League game at home on the Wednesday cos Betis played the Thursday in the same city.

We have had the max number of Sunday 4pm in that package. Doesnt mean they cant claim its from a diff package but moved for our convenience.

Any idea what package the 19:45 sat games come out of?

Absolutely no idea. I’d have thought the logical time for Southampton was 12.30 Saturday but apparently not.

Tottenham have played 2 games at 1945 on a Saturday, one was televised on BT Sport (Package F) & the other was on Sky, doesn't have 1945 as one of their packages, so could be any of them.  Who knows!!

What allocation do Cardiff and Southampton give?

Ok think Southampton is around 3300 and Cardiff 1800, correct me if I’m wrong

Liverpool's four Premier League fixtures for April have today been rescheduled for broadcast purposes.

The Reds’ encounter with Southampton at St Mary’s will be contested a day earlier, with the fixture now set for Friday April 5 at 8pm.

Our Anfield clash with Chelsea has been moved to Sunday April 14, with kick-off set for 4.30pm. This match is subject to further change in the event of Liverpool reaching the Champions League quarter-finals and scheduling.

The trip to Cardiff City will now be played on Sunday April 21, getting under way at 4pm.

Finally, Huddersfield Town’s visit to Anfield has been rescheduled for Friday April 26 with an 8pm kick-off.

All games will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

When might the Chelsea game move to?

I'm not convinced it would be even if we do play the following Tuesday (although might be wrong if there's existing precedent?), given that they chose to put us on at 12pm Sunday for Burnley when they already knew we were playing Bayern away the following Tuesday. The only other free times for the Chelsea game are midweek between the Spurs and Southampton games, and midweek between the Cardiff and Huddersfield games, but in both cases those weekend fixtures are Sunday then Friday, so it'd be a similarly small gap there anyway.

(Nevermind, just seen the above post that they might move it. But I don't see a good spot for it).

If Chelsea stay in the Europa League it won't move, we'll just play our Champions League games Tuesday/Wednesday if we qualify against Bayern.

I think there's one way you know. But it's so unlikely it's not worth worrying about. And it would involve Spurs playing City in a Champions League semi on the Tuesday.

What's the point of having the max number of games per team in these packages if they can just fuck us over?

Only meant to have max of 3 fri/mon games, and they have now allocated us 4. 3 of those being away.

Just seen that Spurs game on the weekend we play Chelsea is 12:30 Saturday, but subject to change. Maybe they'd swap that fixture with us or City depending on Champions League? Makes no sense for it to be subject to change otherwise.

Munich away is the Weds night.

Yeah you're right. Just remembered it as strange that we wouldn't be on the Saturday if they're bothered about the champions league.

City away at Palace the same day we play Chelsea at home.  Sounds spookily familiar.

With the games reversed I'm looking forward to Fernandinho slipping to let Batshuayi in to score  ;)

The club is offering free coach travel to the Southampton game, with a £5 reservation fee going to the Sean Cox appeal.

Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

So why do they bother having limits on Fri + Mon <=4 if they can just do what they like?! ::)

Quite relieved that Cardiff isn't the Monday and that we have 2 before City but not very happy about Southampton.
We are a team of one half.

Monday that week is a bank holiday which is a separate package from the normal Monday/Friday matches, in normal circumstances Newcastle away would be then, however that's also Champions League semis[midweek before & after], so most likely be a Saturday fixture

They announce it a week Friday so they’ll no doubt do that really shit thing and schedule one of us and City for different days with the contingency that they swap them if needed. So if the CL semi ends up Tuesday we’ll play Saturday and if it’s Wednesday we play Sunday or we both play Saturday.

Am I right in thinking it can't be Saturday 5.30pm as BT have no Liverpool league games left? Newcastle vs Liverpool Saturday 12.30pm and Man City vs Leicester 5.30pm would seem to be the easiest solution without having to put conditions on it.

Can't see Sky letting BT have a game where Man City could (potentially although obviously not happening) win the league though.
