So everyones fit, considering who were against Kenny will play the strongest team he can, be interesting to see what he thinks to be our actual best XI is then.

------------------Reina------------------
Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique
------------------Lucas------------------
-Kuyt----------Gerrard-----Downing-
-----------------Suarez-----------------
-----------------Carroll-----------------

For me.

I'd feel more confident with Nani or Young up against Kelly.  And we need Skrtel in the middle with Agger, Carra makes us play 20 yards deeper, creating space for Rooney to exploit in the hole [insert Mick McCarthy gif here].

Can Jay score goals?

No, but that is what Gerrard, Suarez, Carroll, Kuyt and Downing will be on the pitch to do.

Personally, I am not sure about Charlie Adam starting. But, I am getting a strong gut feeling that he is going to score. I also had a similar feeling about Andy scoring against the bitters and changed my avatar and sig before the derby in his honour. Lets hope it works again, eh?

Have the same feeling about Charlie, too.

got a feeling that kenny might start henderson in this, anyone agree?

No. Same reason he didn't start against Everton.

Gerrard will start alongside Lucas. Not even sure that Adam will get in. I think the front 6 will be Lucas, Gerrard, Kuyt, Downing, Suarez and Carroll.

Roger to that.

Obvious team - Pepe, Kelly, Carra, Skrtel, Enrique, plus those 6.

Win.

I'm gonna hazard a guess: Luis and Stevie starts on the bench.

Can see us fielding something like:

Reina
Kelly - Carra - Skrtel(Agger if fit) - Enrique
Kuyt - Henderson - Lucas - Adam - Downing
Carroll

Luis and Stevie coming on early in second, replacing Hendo and Downing/Kuyt, tearing up a worn down United-defence. Johnson in for Kelly around 70, supposing no forced subs before that.

Not sure what I want to see really. Wouldn't mind seeing Carroll and Suarez up front again but at the same time a 3 man midifield could be quality aswell as United's weakest area of the pitch is central midfield IMO. Could have bucket loads of possession and just overrun them if we play a central 3 of Lucas-Stevie-Adam.

                               Reina
          Johnson - skrtl - Agger - Enrique
bellamy(kuyt sub) - stevie - Lucas - Downing (aurelio sub if we lead in second half)
                     suarez - Carroll

most HOPEFUL AND ATTACKING line up when all fit with most players having the best technique and pace.

very negative. a line up that mancs would love to have - a defensive line up in home ground sends the wrong signal and reflects badly on us.
they are trained to break teams down. they get lost if teams attack them often and with a plan becos fergie has instill the foolish pride that they are too good to be attacked.

The way we've beaten United is always with a balanced line-up with very aggressive players on the pitch.

I hope Carroll sits this one out. I would much rather see Suarez alone with Downing and Kuyt on the flanks or possibly Bellamy. Cant fcking wait.

As much as the magnitude of this match, I am quietly optimistic about tomorrow. Based on recent history, I hope that we can play them every week 'cos they simply couldn't figure us out. A win tomorrow, and more important show the rest of the Premier League how to beat them.

Same, would suit a very high intesity that would and was one of the key reasons we won them, we were fast and just simply attacked the fuck out of 'em

There's woe and doom and gloom all around from some of the "famous" TV pundits re Rooney's 3 match Euro ban. WTF did they expect him to get for kicking unprovoked lumps out of the defender - a gentle tut-tut and a wrist slap?
Fook me - it was a dead right nailed on straight red. End of story. When the fuck will our silly Scouse bleeder learn?? ::) ::)

I know this has nowt to do with LFC v MUFC but I needed to say it - hope it's tolerated..... :P :-X ;)

Another clash with our arch enemy. In the past, I looked forward to this clash but not this season. We know how the Mancs have come out of the blocks flying although the wheels are starting to fall off in the last few games. Nothing to do with that. All I hope for is for us to win consistently, not only in the marquee games. We are now building to have a mentality that will make us champions, hopefully within the next 2 seasons. That means we have to be business-like. We need to win games we ought to win and "do our best" against the top teams. So what if we beat Mancs on Saturday 7-0 but end up 7th at the end of the season?

Bellamy played twice for Wales in the International break so he's got no chance of starting. Write off Downing at your peril, it's only a matter of time before the lad makes a match winning contribution.

Bad feeling about this game, our backline is a bit iffy at the minute, but its midfield where we are really struggling. Would take any kind of positive result right now. I expect;

--------------Reina
Kelly (if fit)---JC---MS----Enrique
Kuyt---Gerrard---Lucas---Adam---Downing
--------------Suarez
Beatings will continue until morale improves...
