If all goes as close to last three seasons (remaining games per time) plus trend of this season, we should be hitting early to mid 80s. Man City and Man United look like late 70s to early 80s. Chelsea and Spurs look like early 70s and Leicester looks like late 60s to early 70s.

Considering how Spurs have done in the last 3 seasons, I misread their form one week ago due to Mourinho. Now it looks like they will do well to get 75 points.

Taking out the crazy-consistent performances from us and City in the last couple seasons which we aren't likely to replicate.....the best any of our competitors have managed in the last 3 seasons is 2.21 ppg (Spurs in 17/18) from this point on.

We are already managing that being battered by injuries and VAR etc.

If we're lucky with injuries for the rest of the season, I still think we can get to around 90 and bury any hopes for the pretenders.

Of the last 38 games played by @LFC under Jurgen Klopp during the month of December they have lost just once (at Aston Villa in the League Cup in 2019 while the first team squad were at the World Club Cup).

I noticed something similar to this recently - Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 44 league games in November or December. Prior to this season they'd won the last 18 in a row!

I just realized that at the turn of this year the mathematically maximum point total in the league is 99 (provided we win all of our remaining games. It's a meaningless statistic probably, but does anyone know how many times over the years in the PL era 100pts were no longer possible on January 1?

Alarmingly poor reading for the Away PPG. Looks worse when you see we have the wrost away PPG of the top 7.
Propped up well by the home form thankfully. Not all doom & gloom yet but needs drastic ratification.

I don’t know the answer, but it was probably quite common until the last few seasons. It only takes five draws and two losses (as an example) to make 100 points impossible.

I can’t really see the tables on my phone but for the last 6 matches at Home we are in 18th position in the league (5th position at home).

18th place at home is obviously relegation form and just shows how badly we have been performing. Ok it’s just 6 home games but to fall from being almost unbeatable to relegation form is concerning.

Normally that would put the manager under a lot of pressure and although I’m sure he’s feeling it there’s no way anything will be done as everybody has faith that he’ll sort it out.

It would be wrong to claim that a downturn of this extent was inevitable, but it's interesting to look back to when Liverpool's previous longest unbeaten run at Anfield ended - including the game where the record went, they then lost four out of seven. And it's Everton next so that's three points guaranteed

7-0-0 and 68 home games unbeaten at home to no win in 5 and 13 points dropped. Despite our scratchy away form it’s at home where we have lost the league. Oh how we missed the Anfield crowd in this poor home run, there’s no way we’d go 5 without a win there otherwise. I wonder what the most in a row is and the last time it was so bad without a win??

The worst in the Premier League era was seven without a win in 2002/03, not sure for before that.
