You should see the price of the tickets on stub hub for the Chelsea game..funnily enough all on the US stub hub not UK.

The club aren’t bothered never will be

I'm not sure your last line is entirely true. There's unquestionably been a more concerted effort to address touting in recent seasons. The recent fan update is proof of that.

They are adamant fan update was nothing to do with tackling touting though and they are going to let STHs change names.

It was though in some aspects, as you cannot transfer unless you have proof the current name on the card with dob and address etc exists

That's why touts couldn't transfer memberships into real names, because they required the details on the card to be a legit person already

Just read the following about Dortmund:

Borussia Dortmund have asked anyone who has paid more than the face value price for a ticket to send in the details of their ticket to the club.
The person who has bought the ticket will receive NO punishment but they can then track the original source of whoever bought it.

If true hope many clubs will take note and do this as well

Man united have a better approach

No punishment for reporting the tout, get to keep the ticket, and you get given a free game in the future from the club

Why it encourages people more to report touting?

Also could be for a game the next season. or unsold hospitality.

I like the fact you get an incentive as it makes it more likely for someone to speak up but not given a free game. I’m guessing they don’t want to hand cash out so maybe a club shirt or something

You would have to prove you paid over FV though surely? If not, there is another system people can exploit to get freebies.

Imagine many touts also deal in cash to keep such trails under wraps.

Obviously loads get sold outside the ground - but if they are selling to tourists then there must be quotes going on etc before they arrive.

I guess it would just be cash for exchange and no exact seat details until the actual exchange.

Most touts will probably deal in cash, that doesn't prevent someone reporting they have paid over face value for it. Once it has been reported the club then have a starting point for investigating a potential case of touting.
A few people on here have already reported instances of this to the club and from what they have said the club hardly seem bothered and don't appear to do anything.
I personally don't think they have the appetite to tackle the issue when there are so many obvious cases of it going on right under their noses.

With the united system, you have to report the incident before the match you attend, and provide evidence etc....

There is no stipulation on which game you receive, but think of it a different way...

If someone reports a ticket as being touted, theres a very high chance its an ST or a membership with future games on it....

So in theory the person who reported it could attend another game on that same persons seat, and the rest of the games on that "card" would go back to general sale

It would make more available for additional sales, not less

Did anything come of the "report touting" page before the CL Final?

Wonder how many got banned, if any?

Has anyone completed the transfer of ownership season ticket form and had a reply from the club? It's been 15 days now and nothing. I have been using my mates season ticket for 5 years as he has moved to spain. He has given me full permission and filled the transfer request form out and submitted. Has anyone done the same and in a similar situation?

So given we’ve all moved to NFC to stop the touts did anyone see any of the regular touts plying their trade on Saturday or do we actually think this changes may have had its desired effect.  Personally I didn’t see any of the regular touts outside the kop 👏

I've seen a guy on twitter flogging phones with tickets on it touts will still exist no matter what it's about reducing the impact and finding them out ASAP

Nope, heard nothing. The normal shouts of anyone selling tickets wasn't heard at all.

No change from the touts

First 3 games emailing all the tickets free for all

Any game past, they're adding to friends and family, selling bulks of games too to people at say 150 a match

The tout i reported to Michael Yorke is still active in Ireland, spoke to a guy last week who paid him €220 each for 6 tickets to West Ham st home next month, he also claimed the tout told him he has 26 season tickets/membership cards. I supplied yorke with the mans name, address, mobile number and 2 of the cards which he has touted and still fuck all done, that's simply not good enough.
Ask him for an update maybe, may be hard to get all 26 cards with them having different addresses/names

Same guy still in operation, very frustrating to be honest.

Heard of another guy via a mate and he has 20 odd cards too. I don't want to say the name in case he reads these threads. I don't know whether just to report his name but that might just get one membership banned? hard to know what to do

I reported it to Michael Yorke as advised on here but he's still in operation anyway.
