Really good from Juventus in the second half. Not great for the neutral but the way they kept ushering Napoli out wide was quite something. Napoli's attacking players were never going to dominate in the air, so they knew they could deal with crosses all day. I can't remember Buffon having a decent save to make in that half.

Napoli should go for Giroud.

Just came to post that, the scenes when he scored, brilliant, I don't think they've gotten a win all season or a point for that matter

Benevento finished 5th last year in Serie B but were promoted through the playoff.  First time in Serie A.  They've had some serious close calls that haven't gone their way.

Sampdoria  2-1  Benevento (Benevento scored first but lost)
Benevento  0-1  Bologna (Conceded second half winner)
Benevento  0-1  Torino (Conceded winner in 93rd minute)
Napoli  6-0  Benevento
Benevento  0-4  Roma
Crotone  2-0  Benevento
Benevento  1-2  Inter
Hellas Verona  1-0  Benevento (Conceded winner in 74th minute)
Benevento  0-3  Fiorentina
Cagliari  2-1  Benevento (Leveled match in 94th minute, conceded winner in 95th minute)
Benevento  1-5  Lazio
Juventus  2-1  Benevento (Scored first but conceded 2 goals in second half)
Benevento  1-2  Sassuolo (Conceded winner in 94th minute)
Atalanta  1-0  Benevento (Conceded winner in 75th minute)

At times, they haven't been competitive, but they've conceded a lot of late winners.  They're 9 points adrift of safety, but they would be closer if they had managed late-game scenarios better.

Wow, i had no idea about any of those. I guess getting a draw in injury time by goalie header was fitting then ;D

Serie B's playoffs are fucking insane, they have 6 teams in there and its very similar to how the conference playoffs of the NFL works.

There has been a lot of talk in Italy about reducing the number of teams to 18, but I haven't seen anything serious yet.

Not many chances in this Juve-Inter. Inter had 0. Juve had a few, they should probably be ahead.

Paulo Dybala Asked By Juventus To Get Personal Life In Order

Paulo Dybala has been told by Juventus that he needs to get his private life in order as they believe it has caused problems on the pitch.

"He's 24 and it's normal that he has ups and downs, and obviously he's a player who could get to the very top," Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved told Sky Sport Italia. "I'd advise him to focus on his football and make lots of sacrifices in his private life and train to the maximum.

"Allegri treats everybody equally and he's always done that at Juve, so he's not been particularly hard on Paulo. He treated Higuain and Mandzukic the same way because he always wants the best from all of his players, and he does right."

Dybala has scored just one goal in eight matches.

Very young and bags of potential, obviously, but far from flawless technically. He relies too much on his top class reflexes ad athleticism and he is (still) quite average in terms of footwork and positioning (it shows especially on long range shots and covering the near post). In terms of distribution he's generally average (excellent throwing, inaccurate long passing) and he can struggle controlling the ball.

Also he's a bit of a tit and is completely manipulated by that c*nt Raiola.

Meanwhile Milan down 3-0 at Verona. At some point, players have to take responsibility. I'm sure Gattuso is a temporarily solution but it feels like they fail regardless of who the manager is. Maybe they just kept buying mentally weak players who just want to cash a check.

The tactical genius Gattuso is playing Borini as an orthodox left-back in the second half. Not a wing back in a 3CB formation, but a full-back in a back four. The player Borini was supposed to be marking scored Verona's second, and then the player Borini was supposed to be marking set up Verona's third.
