I've just been reading the echo article about his work.

What a credit to him and his family (and the whole community) he was.

I know that when my brother died, it gave my family great solace to know the good work he did and how it was appreciated.

Very few could claim to have done as much as Alan.

I met Dicko briefly in Basel through mutual friends, it seems many reds knew of him and fondly - speaks volumes.

Sorry to hear about that mate.

My big brother passed away 4 weeks ago, he didn`t smoke, he didn`t drink much, he was fairly healthy living and keeled over with a massive heart attack at the age of 55.

When someone close leaves us out of the blue like that it`s a massive shock to system, keep fighting, celebrate what they brought to your life, celebrate their life, remember the good times and stay strong mate.
