His general play really seems to have gone up a level recently, he holds on to the ball really well, his control is really good and his passing range has really improved. If he starts scoring again he might not be too far away from starting the odd game.
I think he's deserved more minutes than he's got and I agree - he might even have developed enough to actually push for a proper rotation spot if he gets the chance to show it. I would never want Salah injured but in terms of Origin's development and how important it would be for our squad to have a proper 4th option that Klopp trusts to start games Salah missing a game or two might actually be a bit of a blessing in disguise - the former maybe gets a goal or two and makes a claim for the shirt, the latter has to fight for their place, is hungry and mentally rested and desperate to get back in the side, Klopp can think about resting *any* of the front three or even using a traditional 9 if he wants to change formation for a few games.
It'd nice to see because, dare I say it, with the way Origi's filled out and the sharpness he's shown there are shades of Drogba about him this season, and wouldn't a forward like that *who best of all has learned how to play off the left* just be the absolute dream player to add into our existing forward mix?
