What a day Saturday was! Loved it - flares going off, teens stood on the railings getting the chants going, 8k there, great day!

£6 sounds like a bargain. I had to pay £5 to watch my under-8's team play in their cup final at Curzon Ashton last week which lasted about half an hour.

The Purps took the lead on 13 mins (penalty), then had a man sent off just before half-time. Barnoldswick equalised on 82 mins.

7 mins of additional injury time was played at the end of the 90.

The NWCFL just gave the official attendance at 749 mate.

Thought there would have been a bit more than that - though probably not an easy ground to get to for a Tuesday night ko - surprised it wasn't played on a Saturday to be honest (being a Cup Final).

That was fucking awesome.

Went one nil up after about ten minutes with a pen, we had a man sent off 5 minutes before half time, they equalised with about 10 minutes of the second half left.

Extra time we held out, had a few chances and then had another man sent off with 5 minutes of extra time left and won it on pens

That was the best game of football I`ve been to for years, great night.

When they equalised some Barnoldswick nobheads threw a few bottles from the hospitality area up above and loads of lads started throwing bottles back up and it got a bit heated for while.

Great passion from the fans, non stop singing and a delightful change from the star spangled spandex ridden shite that is top flight football.

What a night that was, started off with my lad being one of the COLFC mascots, then a boss game which endeup with the purps going down to 9 men in extra time. it had everything, the tension at the end for the pens was off the scale, voice is still fucked from singing. What a season !!!

That away end last night put most Premier League away ends to shame for the noise throughout the game

Ignore the bit over the trouble, some daft carry on from the executive boxes. What the club have achieved this season is very impressive and we shouldn't like some stupid behaviour take away from that
